That was almost a good corner. He almost lasted 90 minutes. Had a lot of freedom on Saturday and a lot of the ball, in reality created very little for our strikers. One over-hit throughball to Simms in the first half and a couple of chances he created for himself that he blazed over. Perhaps not a number 10 but Ayari's weight of pass looked far superior in his cameo.

Frankly I’m amazed he’s never played in the premier league or been an automatic first choice in a top championship club

We looked unbelievably impressive first half at times against Swansea without kasey .. but I do like him I'm just making a pointNo. Without Palmer we huff and puff and do not much. Yeah, that's my main issue with him. He clearly has the ability, he clearly isn't lazy, but he does go AWOL in games or become a bit of a passenger. I don't think we're good enough to carry him in a free role, and don't think he's good enough to carry such a role off anyway.
