He's a good LCB, the issue was he wasn't as good as Doyle who was great
True, but unfortunately Doyle signed a 4 year contract at Man Citeh, so it's highly unlikely we'd be able to buy him. A loan maybe possible, but it's unlikely they'd want him playing championship football again, more likely he'll go to a prem side or abroad.

So Panzo maybe a good buy if the price is right as he's not ready for Premier league football. And buying him means we can use the loan elsewhere in the squad, and Panzo would have a resale value and potentially make us a profit in a year or two.

Yes he must be awful for not displacing Doyle
Never said he was awful, he is however erratic at times, and his pace gets him out of poor positioning.

I personally wouldn't sign him, but I'm not against his signing of Robins decides to. Plus it does give us some continuity along with Fadz.

We wont get Doyle on loan again but hopefully his positive experience here puts us in a strong position to loan more promising players from Man City

I'm not , people forget we finished 5th , we need better if we aspire to be better .. he's championship level when fit
I disagree on the last season and a half to be honest

Thought he was superb against Huddersfield away but apart from that he’s been a weak link when he’s played imo

Panzo has weaknesses and I pointed them out often enough and early on when lots of people thought he was great.

That said he has a lot of potential and no reason why he can't learn and develop. So I would not be opposed to us signing him. We need at least 3 centre backs if not four. I also think he could play LWB too.

He's had injury issues that have hurt him, but you'd take a punt on him getting over those if you were a Preston maybe. Their fullbacks are solid workmanlike and unadventurous from what I remember, so maybe asking him to do a bit less up and down would help him too.

Anyway as ever, believe it when I see it.

This is it. I reckon Panzo has a lot of the attributes to be quality, just didbt develop as well as Doyle last year.
He’d be a good permanent signing for us.

If Dabo can get himself fit he would be an asset to many a Championship team. Someone who has been a big part of our upward journey does not deserve to be referred to as 'pony' by dimwits on here.
Not so sure very erratic in challenges , liability to get sent off too , great league one player , championship step too far for him I think

Btw I agree been a big part of the journey he’s not been “pony” I remember saying how good he was at St Andrews , just seems to have lost pace and very bulky now , used to close my eyes when anyone with pace came up against him
