From memory that was entirely Dulieu's fault - unsurprisingly.
Le Fondre was keen to come here but Dulieu thought if he left it to the very last second he'd be able to get him on a cut price deal.
Shockingly Reading swooped in and we had to opt for McDonald instead
The manager was poor and the team not much better but do you reckon we would have stayed up if we got him?
Strange thing is,so many players find their form in the last year of their contract.Well at the moment we can’t persuade anyone to take him on loan never mind pay a fee. So at the moment it’s looking a flop-but he’s got one last crack at it this season and with our finances let’s hope he finds some form.
