He sang sisu out.Forget Sisu for a minute, what has Elliott done at all that makes him worthwhile? The club has been badly run for as long as I've been supporting them, time for a change.
He sang sisu out.
And how can one single man have such a loud voice?
Honestly I can't.
But a few things are going to come out and one is a real Corker..........
I think we were boycotting the game by the looks of the Yeovil game!
Who has the nine suits ?
Fuck off you prick
Just don't let the club have ALL the revenues it generates....
Is that the new trust objective?
I think we were already boycotting by the looks of the Yeovil game!
Ha, someone who rarely post anymore. Time I removed it to be fair.
He isnt posting as he is away with the Krankies or someone else he knows from the 'world of entertainment' as he likes to put it. I think he went last week, probably with several of his nine suits.
A boycott at the Ricoh is simply not going to happen. There is no appetite for it amongst the fans, after being deprived of their team for so long to ask them to boycott is misjudged in my opinion. The fans just want to see their team play at home, and I suspect take a breather from all the off field shenanigans. Cant really blame them for that to be honest.
What that does not mean is that the fans have either forgotten or forgiven the owners for their actions. Forgotten & forgiven is a generalisation that is simply untrue. People haven't but isn't it time after the best part of two years to focus on the football and the team. Grand gestures against the owners is not what is required right now. Is it not reasonable to expect that fans will grab any enjoyment they can after all that has gone on. That is what is happening
That does not mean that the club and its owners should not be challenged. There is an awful lot of spin being put out, a lot of direction of fans attention, a lot of platitudes etc but the problems and scheming remain. I have plenty of questions but to be honest I want to give it a week or two before asking - I want to enjoy our team being back in Coventry. SISU will still be here, as will all the off field stuff, so too the history of what went on and what is going on now. Keep questioning and demanding proper answers - make the club be transparent with its fans, put the likes of Seppala, Fisher, Waggott on the spot, do not quietly accept what is put forward - leopards do not change their spots as they say. But no one will really forget or forgive our owners for what has gone on.
Final thought on this thread, I find it hard to buy in to the notion if we support the team it will hasten the departure of SISU. They are not in it for the team, the team has always been a tool for a greater ambition and that has not changed. They are back at the Ricoh because they can trade within their budget and not require further debt certainly but that's not the ambition - how do you get hold of something if you have no connection to it? So do not justify your current stance of going or not going by saying it will hasten their departure it wont - if you decide to pay your money over then do it because you want to see your team, you don't need any other justification. If you choose not to pay anything over I respect that choice of principle (as should anyone else respect it) but I do not think it will have much effect especially with the team performing well in L1.
Everyone makes their own choice. But it is hard to think any CCFC fan will forget what has gone on.
Just as an aside. Reading this board recently with all the comments and generalisations of fans behaviour/support I am drawn to a conclusion that CCFC fans are united in/by the divisions the dispute has caused and continues to cause. For a while at least can we not be just united by the team we all support?
Whilst I don't expect anyone to boycott the Ricoh now ... I think that is asking too much ... SISU will, I fear, just pocket the additional revenue being triggered by the increased home crowds and not invest at all any of that back in to the club. It's merely patching up the expense of the year befores bungle ... we won't see investment sadly ... they do need to go to get that on the pitch.

I'd like to add to this that I don't think small attendances will be detrimental to the team - you only need to look to our performances at Sh*tfields to see that.
I think you're probably right about SISU pocketing the extra income in a way. OSB will be able to confirm this but aren't we due to start paying the ARVO loans back soon? January 2015 springs to mind. These are the loans that were described as "not real debt".
Decent response, thanks.
For me there is no future for the football club with SISU at the helm. Or at least nothing other than stagnation while they wait for someone to pay them their losses.
While it's viable for them to stay, they will, but I don't expect any real investment in the squad going forward. There is no evidence to prove otherwise.
I've read every post on this thread but nothing has made me rethink my own stance. Although alarmingly I am very much in the minority on here!
As far as I'm concerned the only way it wouldn't be viable for them to stay is if it wouldn't be viable for them to stay - protests inside the ground may embarrass them but we've all seen this won't move them on.
Think sisu have got their answer 27000 down to 11000 in one hit and that's about as good as it will get, up to them now what they do stay or sell
I think we were already boycotting by the looks of the Yeovil game!
I looked up the attendance last time we played Yeovil at the Ricoh (March 2013) - it was 11.200.
So it more looks like we're back to normal more than anything else.
The Gillingham game was the exception, not the Yeovil game.
Whilst it's great to be home, the question remains: do SISU/OTIUM have the appetite to invest what is required to benefit the long term future of the club? I remain unconvinced.
SISU will hang around like a bad smell until someone returns them their losses.
The return to the Ricoh significantly reduces the pressure being exerted on our owners.
This is not a glorious victory for the club - leaving never should have happened in the first place, we have our owners to thank. They remain in place and club remains constricted by their mismanagement and shady business practice.
I'm sorry to say this but, the only way to definitely see SISU out the door is to boycott home games and cut off their supply of revenue - at least while we were exiled there was more of a chance of SISU actually f*cking off.
Make no mistake about it, while it is viable for them to do so they will sit and wait. This is one thing Fisher wasn't lying about.
If 5,000-6,000 people had gone to Northampton we'd still be there.
For the good of your club: Boycott.
(I sincerely hope it doesn't explain why Hoffman got his executive box back at the Ricoh!).
I suppose he would have been called a band wagoner if he didn't :thinking about:
Maybe we should wait a bit before starting another war.
It's not unlikely the ownership structure will change sooner rather than later. Moving back could be the first step.
Sisu could be moving away from the club leaving ARVO in charge and maybe a new investor (Byng?) coming in.
This could explain why sisu push on with the JR appeals and why ACL/CCC didn't let the litigation process become a show stopper.
It could also explain the management reshuffle at the club.
If there is any reality to this speculation it could also explain why the club owners will only meet in private with MP Damien Collins.
(I sincerely hope it doesn't explain why Hoffman got his executive box back at the Ricoh!).
