Wasn't Hull on general sale for a good few days at least? If people wanted to go then they could

Or am I missing something

Got tickets for me and two 12 year olds for Plymouth, I don't mind driving normally but with this being a bit of a mission I'm thinking of getting the coach. How 'executive' are the coaches from the CBS?

I think the issue here is there's a lot of Cov fans who migrated down here (I'm one of them) and Argyle was the go to game ,along with Yeovil( thank fuck we don't go there anymore). It used to be easy to get tickets for this one but sign of the times means it's no longer. I don't have a problem, just means the clubs doing well when demand is so high. Long may it last.

Haha, "executive coaches" you don't want a lot.

Is it because you have a Enlarged Prostate and need to go to the toilet frequently, I'm just talking from experience. 🤔

Maybe I should have worded it better! It says executive coaches on the website, I don't fancy sitting on a coach for that long and I'm trying to convince the kids too. If they are decent though it might swing it, I'm guessing they aren't!

I also piss like a racehorse and make frequent stops at the services...

You have to convince your kids to travel by coach? Must be living some life them

Can someone please explain to me why those that don't/can't go should get tickets as easily as those who hardly miss a game?

It's as fair a system as you can get. The people at the top of the list are those that put the money into our club when it needed it the most. Those of us that life frequently got in the way of going have been able to get tickets nearly all the time. Now we finally have a product that we can't get enough tickets for. I can see home games getting difficult next season. Who would have guessed our ground would become too small for us.

Spitting your dummy out because you can't get a ticket when you fancy going won't help. Get a ST and as many away tickets as you can and enjoy the journey. If you can't go do as you make out and join the 'thousands' that buy tickets then sell them on.

Thought not.

You get called an entitled super fan for saying that these days 😆

1720 points (Done the honest way, not buying tickets for a game I have zero intention of going too!) if I don't get one for Luton then it is what it is

It’s a myth that there’s widespread buying of tickets for points only! If you’re on 1600+ points, you’ve done the hard yards following the club!

To be fair, Bristol City in the cup was 'sold out' this season and the away end was barely 3/4 full :ROFLMAO: There was deffo some fiddling going on there

The one thing that does happen is some people get tickets for those they know that can't get one when they can't make the game themself. It isn't done for the points as they already have enough.

Bristol took the piss! 😂

I nearly bought Burnley tickets just for the points because it was available up to an hour before KO. Blackburn away I bought because it was cheap and ended up going anyway.

There will be pockets of incidents, but nothing systematic.

For example, Plymouth away I was unsure if 1400+ would be enough so asked a mate to buy a ticket (they were 1700+) and I subsequently allowed someone to use my details to get a ticket, win-win.

There can be a number of circumstances why people can't regularly go, home or away. It is what it is, but what gets me is all these 'boasters' about how they are the ultimate supporters, just because they have the finances, time, travel means, no family commitment etc etc... Yet they didn't all exist in league one or two did they. And barely when struggling in the championship. Couldn't give away tickets then. So it's peculiar how many are only these 'die hards' when things are going well.

I have circumstances where I can't go as regularly as I would like, but will always go when I can, irrelevant of who we are playing or what league we are in. But I'm deemed not a fan as I don't have all requirements to get season tickets and many away games?... Okay.

No one is questioning your support or bragging about being super supporters.

The basic argument is if one fan goes 30-40+ games a year should get priority over fans who can only make 15-20 games a season when games are oversubscribed.

Again, the majority of away games went to general sale/previous purchase history so fans who don’t have ST/low points were rarely prevented from going to games. They just happened to be the non-glamour games like your midweek trips to Hull, Blackburn and so on.

I don't believe that's happened once in this thread.

Have you just come in here an had an argument about something no one else is? That's impressive, you should get some points for it
