‘You are KIDDING me’
Neither are the answer in the current formation.Thank fk for that.
Just leave Godden there, waste of time.
Simms has surely nailed down the number 9 slot.
Da Silva was in acres of space and a pass to him was the obvious ball. Fantastic foresight from Torp to see that the near post wasn’t covered. With a kick from that position in added time it was criminal not to have a defender right on that post.Torps delivery on set pieces is fantastic.
Shocking performance - noShocking performance, can really see when we don't have our actual usual starters playing just how piss poor we are. Godden is just terrible, the sooner he goes the better. Bobby Thomas is so unreliable and just rash and gives the ball away every single match, we need to sign someone in the summer and have Bobby as a backup.
Dasilva anytime i see his name on the team sheet im worried, he can't defend and it's as simple as that.
Torp is an absolute unbelievable signing, he controlled everything for us tonight.
The summer will be crucial for us, we need a centre back, midfielder, attacking midfielder, winger and a forward.
Nothing flukey there. It was a geat intelligent ball from TorpFlukiest goal of all time, but we absolutely deserved it.
Godden shouldn't start another game this season. Simms is so much better.
If only we could get somewhere near the playoff places.Shocking performance, can really see when we don't have our actual usual starters playing just how piss poor we are. I’m still thinking on this one. It was a good save from the initial shot. The rest seemed slow motion. I wanted Simms to throw himself at the ball and head it in. He seemed to lumber towards it and I thought the defender might get a block in. After watching it a few times I give him the benefit of the doubt and think he was calm and in control of the situation.Decent goal by Simms.
He was alive to the opportunity to get his first shot in. Perhaps not the best effort but it was well stopped by the goalkeeper and Simms was alert to get the rebound in.

If it was up to this forum he would have been sacked half a dozen times by nowSome of the stuff in every match thread an hour before kick off is just ridiculous to be honest
We have a manager who has given us 7 fantastic seasons and yet some think he doesn’t know what he’s doing every single week
What all good teams do!That was a superb point in the end last night
credit to the team for finding a way

Just wait until after the gelWhat all good teams do!
And we are still developing and well ahead of expected position.
He is largely right about Godden, Thomas and JDS though…We have had a lot of games in a relatively short timespan. The point is that we started without Sheaf , COH , Wright & Saka , arguably the 4 best players in our team. The plain fact is that we still got a point. Take the 4 best players out of any Championship side and they will struggle
We are far better placed than last year and whilst the squad needs additions the first choice 11 is a match for any side in this league. Rome wasn't built in a day and I would prefer to wait to sign the right players as opposed to panic signings which won't benefit the club in the longer term. After what we were left with after the end of last season the signings have been generally extremely good. Every player will have a bad game once in a while. We're in the mix and I don't think that we could have expected any more than that.

We are in Doug’s ‘expected position’.What all good teams do!

I do always praise the team and players after good performances and results, even said after 60 I was encouraged with the performanceOkay.
m8, what have you done with Matt Smith?
6 I thinkHow many goals for Simms now? 5?
Start him Vs Maidstone to get a few more and increase confidence I say6 I think
Have you ever seen us in the same room at the same timeHe's small. Maybe @Skyblueweeman is really Robins in deep cover.
Never mind the goal. What about that pass from Torp ....I’m still thinking on this one. It was a good save from the initial shot. The rest seemed slow motion. He should be 'on a rope and stool' I detest that reff.WTF is Stroud on here .
Agreed. As you say, possibly our 4 best players not starting last night. If you'd taken Hamer, Vik, Sheaf & Doyle out of our team last season, and played that game last night, we would of got nothing. We have had a lot of games in a relatively short timespan. The point is that we started without Sheaf , COH , Wright & Saka , arguably the 4 best players in our team. The plain fact is that we still got a point. Yup. Nowt like a good moan and an OTT reaction though is there.Incredible reaction from some. We've just took a point from a team who havent lost at home since 7th October. We did this while resting Ohare, Wright and Sakamoto and with Sheaf and Allen unavailable. It was also a decent performance i thought. Controlled a lot of the game. Obviously they had chances but look at the amount of goals they score at home!
Yup. Perspective.Nice to see we've stepped back in time with the Thomas comments. Start of the season loads saying he was awful, and we needed to get rid. Then he was brilliant, and the future of our defence. Now he made one mistake, in one game, and he's awful again and we need to find a replacement. Looking forward to hearing which player needs to leave next
