Some comments are embarrassing - support the manager and team.

did MG miss on purpose? You would think so reading some comments. The man has been outstanding for this club, deserves so much better from some.

We are in the best period of supporting city since PL days - honestly just enjoy it, encourage, support.

We can’t keep playing the same team, we can’t.

We were the better team last night in 1st half, if we go in 1.0 up, suspect the game changes. Also after equalising, fancied us to win, but massive deflection did for us (again seen people slagging Collins off for that - ffs)

On we go to Stoke, COH back, wright, tats, Eccles rested - let’s go.

Shocking performance, can really see when we don't have our actual usual starters playing just how piss poor we are. Godden is just terrible, the sooner he goes the better. Bobby Thomas is so unreliable and just rash and gives the ball away every single match, we need to sign someone in the summer and have Bobby as a backup.
Dasilva anytime i see his name on the team sheet im worried, he can't defend and it's as simple as that.
Torp is an absolute unbelievable signing, he controlled everything for us tonight.
The summer will be crucial for us, we need a centre back, midfielder, attacking midfielder, winger and a forward.
Shocking performance - no

Godden terrible - no

thomas unreliable - no

Cheer up. Try glass half full sometime.

If only we could get somewhere near the playoff places.

Decent goal by Simms.

He was alive to the opportunity to get his first shot in. Perhaps not the best effort but it was well stopped by the goalkeeper and Simms was alert to get the rebound in.

👍
I’m still thinking on this one. It was a good save from the initial shot. The rest seemed slow motion. I wanted Simms to throw himself at the ball and head it in. He seemed to lumber towards it and I thought the defender might get a block in. After watching it a few times I give him the benefit of the doubt and think he was calm and in control of the situation.

Da Silva was in acres of space and a pass to him was the obvious ball. Fantastic foresight from Torp to see that the near post wasn’t covered. With a kick from that position in added time it was criminal not to have a defender right on that post.

As was mentioned - why didn't Plymouth have a wall for that final free kick? Very odd - made it more of a lottery (thankfully!)

"Just buying for the points "

Excellent numbers. We've come a long way, literally.

Plymouth fans with lots of praise but personally thought it was pretty average. Nothing like this season has yet hit the heights of some of the matches in the previous 2 seasons for atmosphere.

We have had a lot of games in a relatively short timespan. The point is that we started without Sheaf , COH , Wright & Saka , arguably the 4 best players in our team. The plain fact is that we still got a point. Take the 4 best players out of any Championship side and they will struggle
We are far better placed than last year and whilst the squad needs additions the first choice 11 is a match for any side in this league. Rome wasn't built in a day and I would prefer to wait to sign the right players as opposed to panic signings which won't benefit the club in the longer term. After what we were left with after the end of last season the signings have been generally extremely good. Every player will have a bad game once in a while. We're in the mix and I don't think that we could have expected any more than that.
He is largely right about Godden, Thomas and JDS though…
And Plymouth played quite a weakened side as well.
The back 4 is quite worrying and MR may well drop Thomas for a while now, he clearly isn’t sure about him. Another odd player really, plays really well or terribly often in the same game!

Okay.

m8, what have you done with Matt Smith?
I do always praise the team and players after good performances and results, even said after 60 I was encouraged with the performance

to comments saying why we’re losing 😂

I should just have more faith in them

3-1 cov at the weekend

if we lose be expecting more loss predictions

Never mind the goal. What about that pass from Torp ....

Incredible reaction from some. We've just took a point from a team who havent lost at home since 7th October. We did this while resting Ohare, Wright and Sakamoto and with Sheaf and Allen unavailable. It was also a decent performance i thought. Controlled a lot of the game. Obviously they had chances but look at the amount of goals they score at home!

Agreed. As you say, possibly our 4 best players not starting last night. If you'd taken Hamer, Vik, Sheaf & Doyle out of our team last season, and played that game last night, we would of got nothing.

Why is Thomas being slated? He’s been a very good player for us so far and he’s only 21/22 so has so much time to grow and improve any mistakes out of his game. Him and Kitching are the future its clear to see, and they are also the present. The only thing is if we went up I’d back Kitching to step up but I’d want another player beside him, as I think Thomas is better but he’d get caught out for his mistakes more often. That might sound contradictory but I hope you get what I mean. He’s also fucking massive

Nice to see we've stepped back in time with the Thomas comments. Start of the season loads saying he was awful, and we needed to get rid. Then he was brilliant, and the future of our defence. Now he made one mistake, in one game, and he's awful again and we need to find a replacement. Looking forward to hearing which player needs to leave next (y)

it’s all so quick as well. Being dropped on Sunday according to the know it alls was a major mistake and a crazy decision. 2 days later Thomas starts and it’s can we drop him now.

I love this place

exactly. Was he even that bad in awful conditions? He made one mistake for the goal but even after he slid and missed there is a long way to go to put the ball in the net. So he didn’t have his best game but he wasnt as bad as some make out on here.
