The reality is he’s had to make do with a lot of rubbish that has been signed - he’s also bought a lot more out of certain players.

It’s astonishing we are where we are given how bad we were under Robins
Agreed. I'm sure he's using some players he'd rather not but it's what he's got and he's working with it. I think he's done a remarkable job really and even if we shit the bed at Luton, to go into the last game with it still in our hands is exciting and a good achievement.

Hes just said he is.
I nearly lost my wife through medical problems. Then I nearly lost my youngest daughter through medical problems. This place just added to my mental health issues with what was going on because I saw the Labour Party for what they are. This is me being a Unite member who actually run the Labour Party.

I started a new user name on here for one reason only. I wanted to be able to read posts from where I last read the thread. Not signing in meant I had to find it each time. Had enough of arguing with idiots. But Party politics comes before football for many on here.

Yes I used to be Astute. Yes I know more about football than a lot of people that only post in hope of getting 'likes' on here. Hopefully today showed that.

Lampard's a smart man, he'll know thagt was shite and he'll know what we need to do before next week.
I hope so but he seems determined to start every game with a 4-3-3. Ok, today he did switch it to 4-4-2 later on but he seems to be totally ignoring a formation that got us a very good run of results earlier in the season.

Doesn't matter how we get in the play offs, just get in. Hardly any of the play off teams are bang in form.
Hardly any of the playoff teams have a keeper whose errors cost 2 goals most games. I was hoping that the last couple of games got Collins to not be a liability, but it will be that much tougher to win the playoffs if he's giving away goals.

So sorry to hear about your wife and daughter. 😥

Hope they are in better health now. 🤞

If I was offered to not make the playoffs, but I’d never witness that clown Brad Collins ever pull on our famous shirt again, I’ll snap their hand off
He makes Eric McManus look like Lev Yashin
How the hell has he got to this level ? It’s one of the great mysteries of the world, I wouldn’t even put him in goal if I ran a Sunday pub reserve side, who had suffered an outbreak of shingles and were down to the barebones . I’d rather stick my nan in goal, and she died twenty years ago. I’m sure her coffin would have saved at least two of those goals today.
The most horrific keeper I’ve ever witnessed, he’s just wholly incompetent

Not many Sunday league teams have a keeper whose errors cost 2 goals most games.

If you snapped Collins hand off then there's an outside chance Lampard will play Wilson

Gone more direct for a start.
Teams have sussed out that if you sit deep and let us have possesion they'll get opportunities on the break.
We did try a few long balls and it didn't work, what we should of done is push Grimes further forward in the build up. There was no need for him to be in line with the CBs as there was not high press to play through.

He could then received the ball 10 or 20 yards further forward and we could of had more joy

What's the inside track on today!?
I want to hear that Lampard is raging and is never thinking of playing Collins again!
I'm raging - an average Championship keeper today and it is a well ground out point.
The LB we've been linked with was in the stands watching and based on that performance has changed his mind and is dropping to L1 to play for Plymouth instead.

You showed yourself to be totally clueless today. Surprised you have the bottle to still try and argue like you have the last couple of days with me.

Or would you like to try a different prove where you are right and I'm wrong?

Didn't think so.
How have I proven to be totally clueless? I said if we are on it, we win. We weren't and played terrible. They weren't great, we were awful. Piss off back to the sunderland forum

Yet another one who sees it as if we lose we played badly. Yet another one who doesn't see it that the other team can play as their plan succeds.

We played into the hands of Derby. We have now played into the hands of Plymouth. Both times I saw it coming.

Want to argue? Let's add Grendull to this. The so called unexpected wins like I called against Sunderland?

If only this place was more about football than point scoring.

Ok then. Where are we finishing?

My worry is when we have come up against supposedly 'lesser' teams away from home, that have a very clear identity of how they play, we have completely failed to adapt to it. Portsmouth, Derby & today we will have known in advance exactly what they would attempt to do & yet we have completely played into their hands.

Careful any logical or analytical points based on performances are automatically equated to being Anti Lampard.

The shallowness of this forum is mad.

This result felt like it was coming, much like Hull and Derby games we really struggle to break down low blocks. All these games we had dominant possession but it’s a case of purpose vs possession and having them being so direct it hurts us. Bizarrely im not worried about the Luton game knowing they play with a block than Middlesbrough who will try play out more. Does anyone have a goalkeeper insight? Collins is indefensible, you cannot have a playoff push with a keeper letting in half their shots faced. There must be a reason Wilson is out of the picture.

As well as Collins I'd happily not see Bidwell again. Lati too, like Collins, comfortable when he's not challenged but as soon as he is he looks a completely liability.
Then there's Jamie Allen, has one good game in 5 then gets away with the most mediocre non performances going.
We have to support them if they play of course as we're nearly there but I reckon all are gone in the summer along with Binks, BTA and possibly Simms.

Nobody said they were shit at home.
You made out that only 4 wins at home out of 11 games wasn't good not mentioning it was out of 11 games and only 4 was lost.

Sometimes it's best to look at the whole picture. My predictions were not a total guess today. I said they are good at home. You tried your best to disagree. I named their two most dangerous players. They scored 3 goals today. Yet you still disagree. You prefer to blame us.

I was arguing why we had every chance of a result if we turned up.

You have evaded another question though. Where are we finishing?
