It might be counterproductive booing, but who's right is it to say someone can't express their feelings like that?

Whilst it is a choice to go and nobody is forced to spend money, if I'm prepared to get up early, give up my weekend, travel a long way and spend in excess of £200 a game for the 3 of us before anything to eat or drink, then who is it to tell me or anyone else what we shouldn't shout at someone who we're contributing towards and earns 10 x what I do?

In fact some of those preaching on here don't even go (not true of all as I know some of you also regularly travel). It is expensive and perhaps I shouldn't, but I was at Pompey, I'll be at the two games in between and I'll be at Cardiff. If I want to voice disapproval at poor sections costing us points, it's nobody's business.

I didn't boo Burge, defended him on here and he's worse than Collins tbf, even RCC but they came through the ranks and did work but weren't at the level and only paid low wages, Collins and JDS should never pull the shirt on again imo.

I'm totally against it but I never said people shouldn't do it, I think it's counter productive but they're entitled to do it if they wish.

If I thought it did any good I'd join in but I don't think it does.

I'd never boo our own players but in this situation I suspect it might actually factor into the managers judgement. I know if it was me I wouldn't be sending Collins out there again.

Nothing wrong with booing when it's deserved imo

Real Madrid fans whistling is iconic. Albeit silly at times when they target young players but it's still good in a way as the rich players realise it's not good enough currently

People can do what they want and other people can think those people are absolute fucking morons who should have been spunked up the curtains.

That’s just his general demeanor-looks like a miserable bastard all the time and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him smile.
The point at the minute seems to be booing v’s not booing and everyone of course is entitled to do what they like if they have payed their money. It will be seen as counterproductive if you boo but his performance on Saturday was unacceptable. Up until that point people have been more than tolerable with his ineptitude over a sustained period of time but I’m afraid for myself and many others, Saturday’s farce was one too many and I hope he never plays for us again and think this is best for all parties as I can’t see him recovering.
You wouldn't be saying that if they spent the entire game abusing the referee

I'd always boo Craig Bellamy . Even now.

I’ve never booed the team or any of our players, but my frustration with the continued selection of Collins is really concerning me.
The vast majority of us know isn’t anywhere near the level for Championship football.
I would have to practice relaxation exercises if Lambard is deluded enough to pick him again on Boxing Day

I have to say having seen the match v Portsmouth I've seldom seen such a poor goalkeeping performance having watched us for over 45 years.
