Which is all that matters, we were never going to end up in the top six but this amazing start (bar this and the Luton game) have given us such a good base to be in this league next season which is the only target and hopefully nights like tonight will be good in the long run for experience

Dabo, Maatsen, Kelly are 3 I’d drop for Saturday. Trouble is we can’t drop both full backs. Kane in for Dabo then.

Dreadful second half after a so so first. Such a lack of movement and creativity. Gyokeres looked a yard off the pace from the off so can only think he was carrying that knock. Subs really ineffective. Such a let down. I feel we drop the same intensity when we are away to middle of the road teams.

Disgusting 2nd half performance, had our goal so should have protected Gyk for Waghorn on to support Walker.

I thought maybe Sheaf on for Kelly too at HT, as he wasn't at the races today, but then Hamer was anonymous 2nd half too.

Rose has been good defensively but we need that left footed balance to help us going forward. Maatsen will look a lot better with JCS next to him.

I thought Maatsen did okay today, Dabo seemed slow but he has done for a few games defensively.

JCS, Rose did nothing wrong, but you can see the imbalance of having a right footer on the left side, especially that last 20 minutes, Rose was having to cut back in every time t cross the ball.

Maatsen was utterly useless all game, don’t think he tried to beat his man once. Definitely a position that needs addressing either in January or at the end of the season.
