Was very impressed with Da Silva tonight. Thought he was very good.
He's been consistent for a while now , making the left back berth hisWas very impressed with Da Silva tonight. Thought he was very good.
Didn't seem too bothered tonight.Wright had one significant moment in the 1st half, running from the left flank.
It's almost like it's his best position

Most the Portsmouth out balls were to Murphy who was up against MVE, so maybe we were a bit fortunate there. Thought JDS had a great game but he didn’t generally have to do the things he struggles with.He has the best first touch in the squad. Very rarely gives the ball away. Helps us progress the ball forward.
Not sure what Frank’’s done but he’s not getting targeted as much by opponents. Improved defensively, and whipping in some sublime crosses.
So farMVE has looked absolutely brilliant going forward the last couple of games. If we do make the playoffs it will be in large part because he’s miraculously stayed fit all season.
I think it depends which team we are playing against and who is up against him from the opposing team.Da silva looks like a different player all of a sudden. Seems much sharper and hungrier - fair play to the lad
Final ball in was shiteHe was.
I remember him over hitting one.Final ball in was shite
Collins good distribution
Kitch started by losing the ball a few times in out half but was pinging some great forward passes in the 2nd half.
Bobby Thomas solid.
MVE excellent game.
EMC superb game
Rudoni great game Portsmouth were struggling when he was on the ball.
So Paterson calm to deliver at the end, then a minute of batshit mental celebrations.
Sheaf, beginning to look a lot more like the player we had last season
DaSilva great link up play.
Saka some good stuff.
Hope Torp's injury isn't season ending
Wright he can do better.
Grimes likewise not his best game but nothing terrible.
Tbf, that was because EMCs weight of pass was poor, a good pass doesn't give the defender a chance of getting it.Didn't seem too bothered tonight.
Disappointed with his run on the left side in their box when he appeared to just jump over the ball. No idea what he was trying to do.
I saw him win an aerial duel without using a step ladder, couldn’t believe my eyesI think it depends which team we are playing against and who is up against him from the opposing team.
He did have a very good game last night, but there was practically no threat from the right and it was all going down the left hand side to Murphy.
Not knocking him though. He barely put a foot wrong.
Now I'm just waiting for Grendel to say he had a good game.
Probably very hard to do when you have declared a player to be absolutely shite.
There's definitely a player in there, but he obviously has weaknesses.
Last night he had a very good game.
He put in one absolute peach of a cross in the second half which none of our forwards attackedFinal ball in was shite
If he had three legs he’d be faster tooIf Dasilva was a few inches taller he’d benefit quite a lot
Simms had a chance to challenge the keeper right at the end and pulled out. EMC had a very similar chance recently and scoredReckon we need to start Simms, need that aggression. Lampard seems reluctant to play Wright wide left but he does have a lot of faith in EMC who seems to be struggling a bit of late.
No he didn't he challenged the keeper who did well to punch it clear.Simms had a chance to challenge the keeper right at the end and pulled out. EMC had a very similar chance recently and scored
(V Sunderland?)
The only time the Pompey centre back pairing looked unsettled was when Simms came on . Wright is to passive and doesn't bully defendersNo he didn't he challenged the keeper who did well to punch it clear.
Watch the replay. There was no commitment to a header. It was basically a jump in the general direction. No he didn't he challenged the keeper who did well to punch it clear.
the ball was below his waist when the keeper punched it. not sure what you're on about to be honestWatch the replay. There was no commitment to a header. It was basically a jump in the general direction.
Would just like to see him play more (simms). I do rate emc but he’s not looked ‘on it’ the last few games. To be fair probably to do with the recent opposition.Simms had a chance to challenge the keeper right at the end and pulled out. EMC had a very similar chance recently and scored
