However, due to numerous circumstances, including the late end to the season at Wembley and not knowing which League we would be in (there are other League One Club’s there at the same time who we could have played had we remained in League Two) and another League Two side changing their tour date, we have not been able to source suitable opponents

Premier league teams play eachother all the time in friendlies nowadays. A few years back we played QPR in the Ibiza pre season. That excuse is bollocks and makes no sense at all

Checked my flight times today and that’s when I remembered the hours difference; my flight doesn’t land til the Tuesday at 10.45am local time, so likely to miss the meet and greet / training session! :rage:

I’m taking my running trainers but even for me the 30 miles would be too much of a challenge! 30 mile round trip I may have been tempted
