Newcastle spending £33.5 million on another player could be an interesting time if they come down. (I don’t think they will though)

Excellent player though, Guimaraes.

The absolute irony & absurdity if they do get relegated is the supposed richest club in the world would be receiving parachute payments.

It’s going to be interesting at the bottom of the prem, Burnley look like they are in real trouble

I agree, they have played six games less than some of the other teams. They will have to play too many games in a short period, so can’t see them stopping up.

Burnley want Origi, be a good signing for them

Sky really have got some twats on, Wes Morgan talking about Dele Ali and the benefit to Spurs if he does well on loan there, the only problem is the move has to be permanent and it’s a free plus some appearance money.

Quite funny reading about the Dele Alli move, apparently no fee is due until he makes 20 appearances at which point Spurs are due £10m. The most he can make this season as he's cuptied is 18.

Have they changed the rules about head injuries? I thought the game was supposed to be stopped immediately but the BT commentators are saying it was fine to play on as there was no opportunity to kick the ball out.

Is that in the Spurs game? It looked a clear foul and Southampton think they should have had a free kick

That's the one, looked a foul to me but even if it wasn't them surely you stop for the head injury unless the rule has changed. Think the Spurs fans might have been celebrating too soon!

Didn’t see it live but seems Martinelli got sent off for two yellow card tackles in the same passage of play. Foul in his own half, advantage played and he’s chased the Wolves player and fouled him again near the Wolves box. Never seen that before.
