Well, after the bitter disappointment of yesterday, it's a little bit of good news to enjoy.

Are Everton still under investigation for breaking FFP? I guess Leicester will be pushing for them to receive a points deduction to be applied immediately.

All three of the teams coming down should be competing at the top with the parachute payments but you could say that every year.

Let’s hope they are struggling financially.
From the Leicester fans I know they reckon the guy who died actually knew what he was doing running the club and has all gone to shit since his idiot son inherited it, was reluctant to spend any money on the playing side whilst they were riding high, hung on to Rodger’s when it went to shit and didn’t even have a replacement lined up after sacking him. can’t see them staying interested if they don’t get immediately back to the PL next year, as the drop off in revenue is gigantic. Looks like they’ll lose Barnes and Madds on the cheap and Tielemans leaving for free too

I wouldn’t be surprised if Leicester come in for Hamer.

The legal battles that would ensue from retroactively appointing points deductions for FFP would be insane, especially if it relegated a team and possibly sent them into a death spiral, it would also be unprecedented and clubs could argue that their approaches to matches would’ve been different had they known beforehand. FFP seems completely toothless to be honest, can’t see any teams getting anything near a serious punishment, Everton have taken the piss financially over the past few years.

Not a chance Hamer would go to another Championship team in my opinion, agent would surely be looking at Premier level or Europa level foreign side, or Feyenoord. The dressing room at Leicester seems like a fecking mess too with players falling out, uncertainty over management etc., think they’ll be looking at reliable Championship level players to rebuild. Don’t see them walking the league next season, unless they keep Barnes, Maddison etc., or get a class manager in

My mate has said similar his exact words “90% of that shower of shite will be gone” reckons they’ve just signed ageing players up to long term high wage deals.

bit dramatic like - but said he wouldn’t be surprised if they were fighting off relegation next season. Can’t see that myself - be shocked if they weren’t top 2

So many Leicester fans have been saying if they got relegated they would not go to a game in the Championship (phone-ins for the last 2 months on Talksport), similar sized grounds so will be interesting to see who sells more season tickets.

It’s all talk- think I read somewhere in terms of honours they’re the 6th most successful team since the turn of the century.

When the dust settles, they’ll outsell us expecting a canter to the championship title

Ueurgh, turn of the century fact.
You are probably right though for the first season back down though.

They'll have to offload players and I read they have a massive loan with an Australian bank which will have to be paid by their parachute payments. Their new younger chairman does not seem to like spending money either. They owe around £344m although some is owed or written off by the owner.
