Second time today I noticed a team not giving their keeper any protection and the opposition scoring .There was no way the keeper could move he was surrounded by 3 Man .U. players. Terrible defending in my view.

And that’s fine. But there is an opportunity there to improve way beyond they’ve managed to. The signings are largely uninspired. It wouldn’t take a tonne of money to at least get a competitive team together (coming from a fan of the team that paid £7.7m for Haji Wright).

Yeah based on our spending with £20m in the Championship, seeing MR entrusted with £40-50m in the Prem is probably not worth thinking about. Would probably buy the entirety of Barnsley's squad for £30m and then put £20m on Wright.

As for Luton today, should never have been a penalty and they're pretty lucky to get a point at home to ten men. I still think they ought to clear Derby's 11 points but probably not 20.
