Can see a similar lineup to last game to be honest.

As I've said before, I'd personally like us to give a 3-4-1-2 a go but I doubt it'll happen.

Can see a 4-2-3-1:
Dovin
Lati
Thomas
Kitching
Bidwell
Eccles
Sheaf
Rudoni
BTA/Simms
EMC
MVE

Ordinarily I'd say Lati wouldn't play or at least wouldn't start because of the internationals, but with Tatsu out and Wright also being on international duty I can see him being put back in so MVE can play right wing, also it's Lati so he has to be shoehorned in somehow.
Goalkeepers up for grabs

Pleased it's an early kick off so we can get back in the light. Hate Preston. Got two tickets last year after straying into bus lanes, twice 8 minutes apart! £70 lighter.

Hope to see Dovin starting on Saturday.

Gotta love those 4:30a.m. starts.

My god we do not need a centre back playing at full back, especially given that full backs are supposed to form a good part of our attack.

They love a stranger or the uniformed local!

Knowing how predominantly shit we’ve been thus far, guarantee that we’ll break the Preston hoodoo.

1-0 to us, in the words of Sir Alex. PUSB ⚽️

With Bidwell out, surely we need to switch to a back 3, allowing Dasilva to play LWB his natural position. We can also bring back Lati or Binks as the 3rd CB. It allows us to play 2 central strikers, or a SS / CF. I can see Sakamoto and Thomas-Asante being useful in that central role behind the main CF.

I like this tho personally I'd start Simms over Wright.

Not everyone's cup of tea - but If anyone is in to Non-League/Groundhopping there is a game taking place at Bamber Bridge against FC United of Manchester just three miles outside of Preston at 3pm after our game has finished

Looks like they are in a bit of financial turmoil and could do with a bit of support, provided we haven't been drummed and the weather holds out I may go and check it out

All missing for PNE

Ben Whiteman, Will Keane, Patrick Bauer, Ched Evans, and Milutin Osmajic.

Can't think of a better time to face them to be honest.

Compared to last season, they're missing Browne and Whiteman who are two of the better midfielders in the division.

That said, Riis has a great record against us and I don't think he's scored for a while.....

Anybody know how many we've sold for this? Setting off at 7.45am (almost forgot it was a 12.30 ko)

I did the same thing when buying my tickets & booking coach.

When I was told it was 8:30 departure, my first thought was that we must be going to town in the half way house... then I realised the ko time 😂

Wright will have played at 3am our time on Wednesday then flown transatlantic I don’t think he’ll start.

Rubbish - many a time in the noughties, I'd be out to 2-3am at Sheiks nightclub on Bognor pier, then get to bed at 4am before reporting for football duty at 11am for away trips around the West Sussex Football League.

Always managed to put in a 90 minute shift on the pitch (with the occasional 'tactical' throughout the game).

He'll be fine.

I have been pessimistic about our chances on Saturday, which is hardly surprising given our terrible record against PNE.

For reasons I can't explain, I woke up this morning feeling quite optimistic and I think we will win.

I can't see us keeping a clean sheet or scoring a bagful of goals, so I'm going for 2-1 to us.

Last season, we lost at Rotherham and Preston away in October. Two poor performances (equal to the Leeds & Swansea games recently). We didn't click into gear until the Stoke home game on November 11th, which was 0-0. Then the run started. 1 defeat in 13 up to early February.

That run started 2nd half at Preston where we switched to 433/4231 and looked much better for it.

Not sure where I see a similar change coming from this year.
