Possession is the single most useless statistic in football. We’re playing to hit them on the counter and it’s getting us some decent positions.

It surprises me that people still refer to it (not aimed at the initial poster so much, more a general feeling). The amount of times I’m told a team is dominating because they have 60% possession.

Possession is calculated on the number of completed passes. Tippy tappy shit around the defence (or AAATB) will inflate this. I’d much rather we had 40% possession in the right areas than 65% possession because we’re being dickheads round our box.

Bit of a mixed bag. Dasilva probably MOTM so far but is too narrow at times.

Happy for Preston to dominate possession but we need to be better on the ball on the counter. We make some very odd decisions, not helped by having nothing on the right side, was Milan is having arguably his worst game for us.

The reality is that Preston are a shit side and we are no better. The defence is shambolic and the football we are playing is dross . Frequently Difficult to know what our tactics are. What are the coaching staff actually contributing ? Can't recall a full 90 minutes where we've played well this season.

Don't forget we've had refs recently saying the threshold for a second yellow is higher than the first, even though there's no mention of that in the rule book
