What's very ones excuse so far? Seems we know how to play football for 80 yards of the pitch then become clueless.

Just back to where we were earlier in the season gifting shit goals away and fluffing our own opportunities going forward. Don't think a change in shape is needed actually

My issue with Hyam is he’s a right footed CB playing left sided every time he receives it he’s either forcing it on his weaker foot or has a tendency to turn back in on his stronger foot
Hyam has been a bit iffy with his passing lately, but sheaf has to take blame for that goal... Not remotely hyams fault

🤣 Every match I'm in someone's arse for pointing out a fact.

Sheaf pointed for Hyam to give it back to Wilson knowing he'd be under pressure. Yes, he still should have dealt with it, it was a howler from him.

Doesn't change the fact that he's best player on the pitch again but that will be ignored because of one mistake.

That deep pass for Hamer’s chance 🤤

Ball should never have gone into Sheaf, defender had chance to send down the line, it was a no win ball or one that could open up play with him being pressed

Played quite well first half, silly error gifted them a goal. As I said after one of the other recent games, despite not losing much lately we don't seem to have much confidence which is borne out of the lack of goals.
I think Allen and O'Hare have both done quite well in some respects but neither is gambling beyond Godden enough.
Sensible comment.

Cannot believe we are losing. Looking so dangerous but no end product - so frustrating. Allen and Dabo the best players again.

You don't play a ball to a midfielder who you can see has a player on his shoulder on the edge of your own area.

Hyam is so fucking hackneyed in every pass he makes, takes him 5 touches to get the ball to the left wing back and it usually makes the lwb check and come back.
Sheaf had a couple seconds to make the simple pass, either way he's missed the pass and had it taken off him, it's not like he was beaten to the ball he fucked the pass... It's on sheaf

A couple of nice swivels to get out of trouble doesn’t mean you’re forgiven for booting the ball down half a pitch to nobody time and time again. We need to build in their half so we can get some bodies forward, we’re not going to do that with these constant long balls. Calm it down, play the simple pass and build, Preston aren’t anything special but we’re beating ourselves for them.

He's trying to play long passes forwards. They don't always work. He's been involved in winning the ball back constantly, controlling possession and playing simple passes too. You can't just rely on simple passes all the time. I'd rather we had a player who has the bottle to try things.

(This is not a slight on Sheaf who, assist permitting, has also had a very good game so far 🙂)

Not true. I rarely defend Jordan's performances only some of the bizarre criticism that's personal bordering on obsessive hatred by eg SteveFloyd (look back at my posts on a search and compare with stevefloyd's). He doesn't go out there to perform badly and neither does Sheaf, but unfortunately at the moment Sheaf is the one making the crucial errors presently, nobody Hope's it turns around for him more than I do.
I think you are deluded..I have stated I dont hate anyone and if anyone is performing and bottling tackles like Shipley has done virtually every game I will criticise them too ...get your facts right !!

Will be gutted if we lose but we’ve shown there we can play decent sides and have a bit of confidence in our own style. Some of the play between Hamer Dabo Sheaf and Allen has been exquisite.

Why o why do we look terrified to shoot?
There was an interesting article in the Athletic about why modern players don’t shoot from outside the box and it’s basically to do with xG. Chances of scoring from 35 yards - very low, chances of scoring from 6 yards - very high. So younger players have been coached to take the ball into the penalty area before shooting. You can totally see it in how determined they are to get into the box before having a go.

Same old story. Playing like Brazil knocking the ball about until we get to the 25 yard box then we are clueless and frightened to shoot. One chance from a stupid mistake by Sheaf and we are losing.
For me Sheaf has been poor all season and would prefer Kelly any day. Dont really see the hype surrounding his loan and hope we can give him back the end of the season

He should ask Sheaf how to do it then. Best pass of the game by him, Hamer has just been punting it.

The commentators are flattering us. Yes, we have had more possession, yes we have had the better play, and yes we gifted them a goal.

But we are so devoid of ideas and quality in the final third, for all our 'dominance' we managed what 3 shots, and not one that I would call a clear cut chance. In fact just gone back through the commentary and all 3 were Hamer.

We have done what we tend to do; be good on the ball until the final third and then it all breaks down. I am hoping that we have enough to grab a point but I have seen enough of Sheaf, the 15 million pound man Hamer and Cameo Giles to surmise that these guys will always flatter to deceive.

Christ, they are shite. Look like a generic wily and experienced Championship side who float around mid table. You can see by the overly-zealous appeals to get McFadzean carded by man bun and his friends what sort of team this is.

Depressing to be losing so far, but that's what happens when you give teams free goals.

That said, we don't look particularly threatening. Second half we need to throw caution to the wind and commit a few more forward.

Hamer is always going for the screamer because nobody else wants to have a crack. It's incredibly frustrating to watch

If you watch it back, sheaf was telling him to go to Wilson. He didn't want it there.

At least Wilson could have put his foot through it.
