Both away games we have won , Shipley has started , I know he has been subbed but there might be something in this to see him start

I’m a Shipley fan. Don’t think playing him or Allen with O’hare behind Walker would’ve been any worse than persisting with Biamou

He got slated for his last performance iirc, although QPR have picked up a lot this year. Take a point all day long. Bought my ifollow pass earlier. Want 3 points (or more!) from next 2 games.
Only Watford and Norwich have won more games than them since the start of 2021.

We either need to approach this game with two attacking midfielders and a striker or an attacking midfielder and two strikers. A combination of three deeper midfielders like Kelly, James and Hamer isn't going to work I reckon.

If we go single striker it depends if Godden is fit enough to start. If not it'll be Biamou. I can't see Walker up top on his own without spending most of the game defending. But who plays the other ACM? Allen? Shipley?

I reckon Wilson will keep his place and Pask will come in at RWB ahead of Dacosta.

Wilson
Rose Osti Hyam
Pask James Hamer Sam
O'Hare
Walker Godden

Marosi, Reid, Dacosta, Kelly/Sheaf (if fit)/Eccles, Allen, Shipley, Bapaga, Gyo, Biamou

I'll go with a 1-1.

Will be very tough - they pretty much have been playing 4-2-3-1 consistently in this good patch.

Think though for this one we probably don't match up and play 3-4-1-2.

Wilson

Osti Rose Hyam

Pask Hamer James McCallum

O'Hare

Gyokeres Walker

Subs: Marosi, DaCosta, Kelly, Shipley, Allen, Godden, Biamou, Baka

I'll buy your beer all day at The Ricoh, on our return, if those 2 start up front (P.S. If you're MR posting on here, then you're limited to 5 pints)

Nervous for this one as I could see Rotherham and Birmingham getting a result today. Hopefully QPR having essentially nothing to play for will help us. Lyndon dykes started for Scotland on Wednesday night so he may be fatigued/rested.

Tough game
If we play the same way the last time we met we will win, but if we play like the last couple of games it's a defeat.
Which cov will turn up?

Game day at last, it has been a long and tedious wait.

I think we will get a point today, going for 1-1 with Godden scoring our goal.

Happy to take a point today but can’t see us doing much against QPR. They’re very direct attacking wise and we will struggle with our calamity defence. Expecting us to lose but draw is great.

Struggling to see anything that points to a positive outcome. We'll need to take any of the limited chances that come our way. Godden has to start for me, it maybe too late to introduce him from the bench. I can't see him starting upfront alone until fully fit, so it's between Biamou and Walker to partner him. Despite his poor conversion record, Biamou gets the place for me.

Delighted with a draw.

Potential thumping today. Plan is to go with damage limitation until we can get a striker starting

Nervous, but not having us getting thumped (unless a sending off/penalty conceded a la Blackburn). Let's have a Millwall performance please, with Hamer back on song!

Robins interview worries me. No fight no concern just “we just need enough points to get over the line” and that’s the attitude players are showing too. Too complacent for me. I think we’ll lose today. Getting worried this team doesn’t have the fight for a relegation battle and never thought I’d say that.

None of our players will want to head back to league one as for many of them thats where they will stay for the rest of their careers. I think we will see a fight

We need to scrap our way out of this and I only see two or three of them up for the fight and one of them isn't even our player.

If Robins could start playing our best players it would be a good start. If I see Wilson in goal and Biamou up top on his own again, I'm turning off.

We should be miles clear, but so many points needlessly squandered mean it’s a toss up now. Let’s see what he’s spent the last 2 weeks working on though.

Fills me with hope, very underwhelming. Disappointed in him.

Can’t see any substance in the Marosi/Wilson debate. Should we stay up (I personally feel that we won’t), then I’d hope to see none of them on the books next season.

Excited for the game, bound to be fuming by the end of it.

Get on this though if you have 2 seconds :)

I said on another thread, if Godden and Walker can stay fit ( obviously there are no guarantees) then I think a new keeper is more of a priority than a new striker.
