A lot of it does seem to point to King doesn't it.Our bench last night consisted of Kitching, Simms and Mason Clark, costing around an alleged £15 million or more and which one of those would you like next to you in the trenches? If Doug wants to get tough he should fuck the coaching team off and the recruitment team off and get Robins an assistant if that don't work then its time sadly for Robins to go. If it is indeed King thats meddling in things he needs to fuck off as well
More shifting of the blame. It's the recruitment, so let's look at that. Who don't we rate? Kitching was a Robins, Binks came back after a loan so that's a Robins. We still have some Adi ex Chelsea gang here who have never been great for us.Our bench last night consisted of Kitching, Simms and Mason Clark, costing around an alleged £15 million or more and which one of those would you like next to you in the trenches? I see your a sack the manager guy, I have thought that but I am still clinging on to the belief he may turn it around again but also realistically thinking his time is almost up here, the problem I would have is that King seems to know almost naff all about football (unless he surprises us) so to trust him to go on the merry go round of inept managers and find us a real gem the chances are very slim....so do we stick or twist with a manager that in recent years has entertained us, reunited the fans with the club and given us something to actually be proud of with trips to Wembley promotions etc or do we have to go through that shite again with incompetent idiots managing us?More shifting of the blame. Ignoring who else may or may not have been Robins approved, wasn't Austin a Robins approved appointment himself?
I'm sure King chops and changes the team every week, uses subs poorly, can't adapt to opposition changes, hasn't got players to do the basics or work together, can't seem to motivate the players.A lot of it does seem to point to King doesn't it.
A lot of people have conned themselves into believing we’re just going to flip a switch and magically become a good team overnight.
And now we have moved to a system that £4.5m of those can't even play in.Our bench last night consisted of Kitching, Simms and Mason Clark, costing around an alleged £15 million or more and which one of those would you like next to you in the trenches? So, you are saying that Robins has suddenly become a very poor manager, after previously being probably the best manager we have ever had?I'm sure King chops and changes the team every week, uses subs poorly, can't adapt to opposition changes, hasn't got players to do the basics or work together, can't seem to motivate the players.
King is a terrible manager, right?
5 wins in last 21 league games probably shows we are not.I'm not saying it's definitely going to happen this time, but to be fair we've done that numerous times under Robins.
It didn’t fit last season’s team either. Just a desperate last throw of the dice that doesn’t get to the crux of why this team is struggling. And now we have moved to a system that £4.5m of those can't even play in.

Let's be honest, as fans we are all getting twitchy, but in terms of freshness, I can understand MR rotating parts of the team - particularly when players are not performing, and not 'owning' the shirt. We don't have a consensus on here as to the best team - whoever is on the bench 'should be starting' but when they do, they are slated. As fans all we can do is support, and have to rely on MR and players to turn it around. I'd be concerned if we ditched MR, as I feel it might give further excuse to disaffect players. Who would fans then vent at if it doesn't turn around? I think the January window (depending on position) will be interesting regarding transfer activity. I'm for holding my nerve (still think next win is Derby). Don't think we'll be relegated, but if we are, I'll be there next season, regardless. It's all about the journey, not the destination.I file this under ‘he will turn it around’. He doesn’t look like he can and has already resorted to frantically changing shape, changing goalkeeper etc in the hope of something sticking.
I don’t know how it happened but we look like a terrible side. So do QPR, but everyone else in the mire is showing signs of life. We aren’t.
I'm saying everything I've said is true. What do you disagree with? So, you are saying that Robins has suddenly become a very poor manager, after previously being probably the best manager we have ever had?
MR was the one who pushed the boat out on Kitching who now can’t get in the team. Binks we saw for a whole season and decided to spend on him too.King has chopped and changed what has worked for us for the last 7 years.
Away from the playing side he's done a great job of rebuilding what sisu wrecked.
On the playing side he's done a great job of wrecking what Robins rebuilt.

What did Robins build and how has King wrecked it to cause the on the field problems we have now?King has chopped and changed what has worked for us for the last 7 years.

If the destination is back down the leagues you probably won’t have many passengers. For my sins I would keep going as well, though with a sense of irony in using my ‘Premier League’ season ticket to watch Kitching boot it into his own goal against ShrewsburyLet's be honest, as fans we are all getting twitchy, but in terms of freshness, I can understand MR rotating parts of the team - particularly when players are not performing, and not 'owning' the shirt. Still no. But as I said last time you asked me, it gets harder with every game to keep defending his position.‘file it’ where you want, I believe he can turn it around.
Are you now in the ‘get rid’ side of things? That’s obviously also a valid stance btw, just interested.
Well, seemingly, Kings's remit is of young players we can make a profit on. Hence the reason we haven't brought any older heads in with great experience. What did Robins build and how has King wrecked it to cause the on the field problems we have now?
I don’t know on this one only as we know it was Mark who really wanted Kitching based on Itks last year.A lot of it does seem to point to King doesn't it.

What did Robins build? Haha!
Robins has said he agrees with the development strategy and Doug several times.Well, seemingly, Kings's remit is of young players we can make a profit on. Hence the reason we haven't brought any older heads in with great experience.
That King has wrecked is the sentence. What did Robins build? Haha!
So why was Saddle saying that Robins was interested in bringing Matty James in and King said no?Robins has said he agrees with the development strategy and Doug several times.
Btw Kitching and EMC are both 25. That's where this conversation started.
MR was the one who pushed the boat out on Kitching who now can’t get in the team. Binks we saw for a whole season and decided to spend on him too.
He is getting things wrong in a non trivial way as well.
It’s a clusterfuck where MR is at fault but so are many others. I don’t trust King to hire a new manager, I don’t trust these players to put the work in, and I really don’t trust any of these coaches.I've never said he's blameless.
And personally I think he'll struggle to turn it round.
But I can see us going through manager after manager once he goes, picking up compo bills for managers and associated staff along the way.
I mean, can you see a new manager coming in and been prepared to work without an assistant and keep Boateng and Co in situ?
Exactly. We really have to be careful what we wish for. Get rid of Robins and it could well be the manager carousel days all over again.I've never said he's blameless.
And personally I think he'll struggle to turn it round.

Less diversion more specifics fella.
BTA was almost certainly a Robins signing given how long we apparently chased him. I suspect Rudoni was too.MR was the one who pushed the boat out on Kitching who now can’t get in the team. Binks we saw for a whole season and decided to spend on him too.

I agree. Really want to know who decided to fuck Browne off for Stamenic too.BTA was almost certainly a Robins signing given how long we apparently chased him. I suspect Rudoni was too.

MVE has turned to shit recently too, and he was one of very few we might make a profit on. Get relegated and I doubt we profit on any of them.I agree, it’s like everyone wants to blame anything other than Robins himself. Yes the man’s a club hero and always will be, there’s no taking that away from him, but when we’re underperforming so poorly compared to what we were sold at the start of the season then a large portion of the blame has to lie with the manager.
I think Austin’s position should be looked at tbh, the recruitment hasn’t been dog shit awful but it does feel like we’ve squandered around 30-50% of the £35 mil windfall we got from Hamer and Gyokeres, something which is incredibly rare in the Championship for the sale of just two players.
