Lati
Binks
JDS

Sheaf
Eccles

Saka
Rudi

Christ that defence would be suicide. JDS and Lati in a back four?
I’d go.
Same formation than Preston.
Kitching for Thomas, and play Lati at RCB
Wright and BTA as the CFs

Own Goal Kitching being played on the wrong side of defence couldn’t possibly backfire

You mean the 2 players that actually played well on Saturday?

Yeah let's drop them

Same system that doesn't work?

Okay

I’d try Wright in the lone striker role, with EMC on the left.

My usual optimism is shot to pieces at the moment, so 2-0 to QPR ☹️

In true Coventry fashion, QPR are rock bottom so in our quest to help struggling teams we hand them a win

Line up for me. Keeping the back three the same, changing the shape slightly to allow Sheaf more time on the ball.

Think Sheaf needs to allow himself not to rush like Preston. Will also mean he can play as quarterback pinging passes to the runners ahead. Also means he’s not in as forward positions limiting his desire to a shot since it’s not a strength of his.

Since hoping Sheaf plays more like the playmaker, picked runners as a priority in the midfield and up front. Want some hight as allows variation in how we attack and as such popped Wright in.

If you are going to play Thomas on the right side then I think Kitching is a better bet in the middle than Lati

Torp for Eccles...

Would like to see Rudoni drop back alongside sheaf, with Torp ahead of those two in a triangle. Torp does seem able to pick up the ball and start second phase attack further up the pitch…not so great when we are under pressure in our own half.

Edit; sadly, we all really know it will be the same team as Saturday…so will need to score at least one to get just a point

After tonight, I'd say only Derby at home is winable in our next 6 games. It's a terrible month ahead which most certainly will decide MR's fate.

Very few ball winners in that 11
Yeah why I fancy the first one but would be happy for us too rotate any of the three but would start with sheaf as a DM

Personally would start in the first or in a box as per below. But think it could be a great option if chasing and starting with sheaf in DM

No, I don't see it that way. A draw and then us beating Luton would be a very good return.

I think that may well be how it pans out. Can see us getting 4 points out of the two games.
Blimey Otis - I'm Mr Optimistic, but if we get 4 points from the next 2 games, I'll be ecstatic. Think we're playing Luton at the worst time possible, and if we lose that game, I won't enjoy the response from the area that I sit in (which may only be softened if we've beaten QPR). I'll still applaud them (will make me a sad clapper - hate the 'happy clapper' phrase), but if we get 0 points from the next 2, I think there'll be a more than unpleasant reaction - which is sad, because we can still turn it around, regardless. Said for a while that Derby may well be our next win!

Looking at the fixtures we really need to pick up points v QPR, Luton and Derby as I can't see many points coming from Middlesbrough, Burnley, Sheffield Utd and Sunderland
