Lolz. He’s clearly been brought in to add depth. I don’t know why you’re getting so defensive about this. You’re normally a good, balanced poster
Not really defensive, just sticking by my opinion he’s unlikely to be at the level required to contribute in this league. He’s clearly been brought in to add depth. I don’t know why you’re getting so defensive about this. You’re normally a good, balanced poster
What would people have said about sakamoto? Not really defensive, just sticking by my opinion he’s unlikely to be at the level required to contribute in this league.
If he’s been brought in as a prospect who won’t play much then that’s fine, but it seems odd we’d do that with a player from so far away that we’ve paid a fee for. So I’m assuming he’s going to play and that concerns me slightly.
Obviously he still has my full support as a fan.
These are usually the types of signings that we’ve excelled at in recent years.
2 of those 4 were not signed as wingers …..I raise you Gervane Kasteneer, Marcell Hillsner, Wesley Jobello and Julien Dacosta as wingers over recent years .....
Tbf they were all older with careers behind them that raised red flags almost immediately. I think we're smarter now.I raise you Gervane Kasteneer, Marcell Hillsner, Wesley Jobello and Julien Dacosta as wingers over recent years .....
Exactly what I was thinking . One of the more obscure signings we could have madeHow did we even scout this guy
All part of DK's global fan base plan. Japan, USA and Europe now being added to by Australia. Master stroke!
I’m sure someone could knock some lyrics together to the tune of “land down under”
Do you think he’s the back up right winger?
Or is he third choice in numerous positions across the front?
develop Raphael and then sign another loan there imo
He's probably gonna be third or fourth choice in a number of positions and a bench option to help manage the minutes of the first team players. Would expect us to bring in another winger to compete with Sakamoto on the right. Not really defensive, just sticking by my opinion he’s unlikely to be at the level required to contribute in this league.

Radical, dude.Jeyyyyzus H.. there ain’t half some fuckinwhiff spouted on here.
Let’s let the kid kick a fuckingball before we say he’s not going to make it.. yeah?
RaphaSo what's his nickname then, Rapha or Rodder's

Would leave us with on the wings
EMC
Haji
Sakamoto
New signing
Tavares
Rodriguez
I'd hope for a new keeper and DM before a striker. I feel they are the two positions we need upgrades most in.Can’t see us having 6 ‘wingers’ to cover 2 slots.
I think the next priority would be replacing Godden as maybe someone who can play across the whole front line but is primarily a Striker.
Someone in the mold of Kvistgaarden (who I saw someone mention on here before) would be ideal.

Kvistgaarden out of our price range I'm afraid. Albion Rrhamani is interesting though. Can’t see us having 6 ‘wingers’ to cover 2 slots.

Most of them can play multiple positions so you are covering more than two slots. Can’t see us having 6 ‘wingers’ to cover 2 slots.

I reckon we'll sign another couple of wingers and then play the box...Can’t see us having 6 ‘wingers’ to cover 2 slots.

So play them out of position in central midfieldI reckon we'll sign another couple of wingers and then play the box...
I also think we will sign at least one more proven wide player, probably right sided.I reckon we'll sign another couple of wingers and then play the box...
How did we even scout this guy
Surely we sign a right winger?Lol at people thinking Dougs going to allow 3 players per position
I’m not suggesting 3 players per position.Lol at people thinking Dougs going to allow 3 players per position
Attention forum... When GIMOC is more positive in his posts than you are, it's time to have a rethink.many teams were after him inc a few championship teams. we are a team who players want to sign for
he’s young he’s raw. exciting to see how this pans out
Add right winger and a back up for Ellis - Christ we have firepowerI’m not suggesting 3 players per position.
im suggesting 2 players per position. Left wing and right wing are not the same position.
We currently have EMC and Wright for the left and Tats / Raphael for the right.
I still think we will sign another wide right player in addition to Raphael who is clearly a calculated gamble.
Your constant critique of Doug is very odd.
