Max was decent and did his job. It's absolute no surprise to anyone on here that you are unable to realise the role that players have and the contribution they make to the team.

I've always said that you have highly decent trivia knowledge of the team and you know far more about the financials of the club than I ever will but in terms of seeing a game that's in front of you - it's been evident for years that you've never played and have no idea. You do a brilliant job week in/week out of showing your complete cluelessness - but again I admire you for keeping going and giving opinions - honestly kudos for the best laughs of the week!

Interesting isn’t it the abuse certain players like Shipley get and you say nothing yet as soon as “max” gets some stick you are frothing like Glenn Close

Just no.

O’Hare has already been a Premier League prospect and got released. He has plenty of talent and an incredible engine, but he has very little experience and he’s a long way off being useful to any Premier League team, which is why a then-struggling Villa side already decided to get rid. I hope he proves them wrong, but it won’t be before Hamer makes the step up.

So Dabo will never make it then?

Sorry DT I must disagree, he was poor up until about 70 minutes when he did hold up some of the ball and run down the clock better. Before then he looked very sluggish, didn't chase much down. And in truth he hasn't looked great since Rotherham

Says the bloke who says Biamou is the best athlete at the club. Jockey Wilson could beat him in a 50 yard dash

Oh dear. it's that time of the week again and the Moron is all out of arguments.

Just for once stop embarrassing yourself, turn off the laptop and have a night off - save yourself and us from any more of this nonsense.

I've honestly never known anyone with less on an idea as to what is happening on the pitch - I can only think you're pretending to be absolutely clueless - right?

The best athlete at the club 🤣

I don't know how anyone can post saying "this player will never make it to the Prem" without the fear of potential future embarrassment.

Biamou is in no way the best "athlete" at the club. Callum O'Hare wins that one hands down.

Go back and read my posts about what Shipley offers and then try again. I will accept your apology in advance.

Wasn't he regularly clocking up 10 mile runs during lockdown?

Pretty sure COH rejected multiple extension offers from Villa before signing for us.

Pretty classic whataboutery, but anyway - I certainly think Dabo can make it, but it’s a year and a half since a PL club let him walk. For O’Hare it’s not even a year, so you shouldn’t be surprised if Dabo has made more progress to getting back to that level. He’s certainly got a lot more playing time. Hamer too.

oh it’s not that it’s the dogs abuse he gets from people like London who still wanted him off at half time but oddly isn’t something you ever challenge.

If they thought he was worth keeping, they would have done. They decided he wasn’t. I hope they were wrong, but that’s how they felt in August at least. It’s up to him to prove them wrong, but I think he’s behind at least a couple of others.

The rating system on here is fucked. You shouldn’t need so many .5s with a range of 10 but the range is really 4-9

Well I have just read some crazy things and I am not sure if people are being serious. First someone suggests O'Hare didn't play very well today. He was brilliant.

Then Grendal says O'Hare is better than Hamer. Now I rate O'Hare very highly but no way is he better than Hamer.

It’s likely they offered him a new contract to loan out again not to use in their first team. If they were offering him a chance to play in their first team in the Premier League he would have signed it

BSB - always respect your views. I think it's fair to say that 3 of our forwards (Walker, AB and Max) are not at their best in the lone striker role.

Max for example is best when he is making space for his forward partner. Godden can play the lone striker role but it's a totally unforgiving position and requires a specialist type of player - even Godden struggles in that role during certain games due to fatigue and battling against 3 centre backs week after week. Walker shows glimpses on his potential as a lone striker but he's not physical enough for that particular role.

Given that it's not Max's natural position I think he did a job for the team today. He was also very good when he came against Stoke in my view - again he did a very unselfish job for the team.

Different kinds of player for me, so I don't know why anyone would bother making the comparison 🤷‍♂️

20km +++, and at ridiculous fast paces. His athleticism shows in his number of appearances this season, he's barely had a rest. I'm sure he probably gets mentally tired, but physically, on the pitch the lad doesn't stop.

Not meaning to sound like I’m consistently hating on O’Hare, but didn’t those ridiculously fast Strava runs turn out to be bike rides?

Just my view but I don't think Biamou looked fit today. Other times he's come on he hasn't hit the heights of that superb Rotherham performance and has struggled to impose himself on the game. Usually he will always bust a gut if nothing else but something hasn't seemed right of late.

A player who's scored 4 goals already, in less appearances than COH, in a less advanced position?

They're both great players and both were good today. I wouldn't rule either one of them out of anything, because they both seem to have the right attitude.

Theres plenty more to come form Hamer, hes sorted out his initial discipline issues. without losing his bite.

When i say more to come, he will score some worldies hes only just settled in

Like a few games ago he hit the post from inside his own half.. Outrageousness! lol would have been goal of season.

He’s going to go in January then is he?
If he doesn’t go in Jan, then that doesn’t mean there isn’t interest, if that’s what you’re implying.
Seems a ridiculously odd POV, and hill to die on, considering the performances he puts in. I think you can remove subjectiveness from that by looking at the stats as well, which back up that he’s exceptional at this level. Being subjective though, he’s brilliant and the best player I’ve seen in a Cov shirt since McSheffrey pre Brum move, perhaps.

Wilson 7 not a lot to do
Dabo 8 back to his best
Ostigard 7
Mcfadzean 9
Hyam 5 needs a rest next week
McCallum 7
Sheaf 8 loads better W playing with hamer as a defense two rather than by himself as enabled him to go forward with the ball at times
Hamer 9 quality
Ohare 8 outstanding work rate but had to score
Shipley 8 unlucky not to bag 2 goals. Needs to assess his life and decide how far in the game he wants to go, and cut out the booze and improve fitness
Godden 5 should have gone off earlier

Biamou 6
Giles 5 looked a bit lost
Yeah Sheaf showed another side of his game today and did it well - running with the ball.

FFS.

Look Moron. We covered this totally senseless argument just last week - your argument seems to be that I have to 100% respond to all comments posted on SBT. I simply like most people don't have the fucking time. I didn't even read today's match thread.

Again go back and read my previous comments about Shipley and then I will accept your apology.

Or better still - drop the pen and just stop embarrassing yourself - just for once do yourself a favour?

It's fair. Many of our players play through various niggles and knocks; Kelly for many games last season. It just shows how good they are that it's not always evident to us fans that they are playing through injuries at times.

Lol, maybe but they appear to be running times (as a user of Strava). If he cycled them he is dead slow basically.

If anyone has the link I’d love to see them again. The idea of O’Hare recording himself cycling at a leisurely pace on a penny farthing around Dorridge is too good.
