Still has a bit to learn. Distribution especially when a counter attack could be gained needs a lot of work.
Would rather a more experienced man at in the goal for next season but there's no doubting RCC's is a talented kid
Thought he had a Very Good game today☺
Agree with that largely. He's come on and is good enough now but not having an experienced keeper is one of many failings by Mowbray as to why we are not now celebrating a championship return.

He started really well and took the record for the most mins without conceding a goal - there was then major changes at the back which unsettled him - he has come back strong recently and the club need to tie him down on a longer term contractdont think its much to do with martin. rcc just a good keeper and improving all the time. we should build around him. we do not need a new keeper next year

The injuries at the back and all the chopping and changing, not just personnel but positions as well; that is what has cost us more than Mowbrays faith in RCC. Without that faith he would not have developed in the same way.
I'm not really interested in his development. An experienced keeper would have gained us more points.
You don't advocate the club spending money. Then say you are not interested in us developing our own players? RCC gained us lots of points actually. You have no proof an experienced keeper would have done better have you? Did Cole secure us many extra points with his experience?
Your posts are becoming more predictable, boring and slightly insane.
I await the arrival of Sick Boy to back you up further, especially as you have provided no evidence your theory is correct. I don't normally ask for evidence or links from posters, but considering you are so keen on it, I think it is only fair to play by the standards set by you.
Yet oddly the two subsequent posts following mine agreed with me and not you.
Perhaps you are the insane one in your deluded view there is any progress. Next season were are in league one - no progress made.
Compared to the old yard stick (last seasons final table) we're 9 places higher, 19 points better off, scored 18 more goals and conceded 11 less. And we thought you were a fan of stats. I guess it depends on the stats.
Do you have a link to how we haven't progressed?
Oldskyblue did say that some posters would find a way to deny progress on the this time last year thread
Osb is not sensible. Now I have heard it all haha
Next years fixture list - League One
30 goals and most assists are gone. I suspect Martin will not be offered a new deal. Fleck needs replacing.
Now tell me where the progress is.
So finishing 8th instead of 17th isn't progress? Securing 69 points instead of 55 isn't progress? Scoring 67 goals instead of 49 isn't progress? Conceding 49 goals instead of 60 isn't progress?
For someone who continually goes on about stats you seem very ignorant to these?
It depends on the statistical correlation between seasons and the relevance of the league position from the prior season
I'd argue there is zero relevance and the team that starts next season will be no more likely to challenge for promotion than this one.
The club should have easily ended in the play offs at least. Easily. Pardon me for not being elated and not thinking that a real opportunity had been royally fucked up.
Well. Last season that would have seen us finish 6th. I started a thread on this and the fact is it was a much tougher league this year than last. Especially the top end. Wigan for instance would have only finished third with their points tally last season. So when looking at progress from last season to this we achieved considerably more in a tougher league this season. That's progress and the stats (remember you love the stats) confirm this.
Sigh. Only if the statistical correlation is relevant.
It isn't. Until this season I believe the sixfields home record was the better than a but one at the Ricoh. The statistical fact alone would suggest remaining at sixfields. In isolation the statistic is irrelevant.
Last time the club finished 8th take a little look at what happened next season.
