Curious as to how you know for certain it was out? Do you sit level with the line? There were some incredibly close ones for sure but remember angles are very deceiving.Thought the ref was a bit inconsistent but not the worst we've had. Just didn't let the game flow at times.
The linesman who regularly missed the ball being over the line was hilarious.

I agree with your overall point on Madley, far from the worst but some slightly odd calls. How on earth their player (Mowatt I think) wasn't booked for literally picking the ball up to prevent a counter attack was ridiculous.
I was right in line with the by line, one was a foot out, (went in our favour), and there were at least another 2 which were clear cut that he didn't flag for, it was bizarre.
The Premier league refs and lino's rely to much on VAR and don't make the correct call for offside. If you look at Akpoms attempt VAR would have looked at itSame guy missed a few blatant offsides as well, he was shite.
not what happened is itAlso missed Gyokeres elbowing McNair in the mouth breaking his tooth....them's the breaks imagine him getting sent off...
Oggy said it was nothing not seen highlightI got more frustrated than usual with all the fouls given against Vik and Hamer on the day, of course being behind the goal didnt give me the best of angles but some of the decisions really made the game scrappy and didnt reward a good 50/50 challenge. Bobby Madley mostly had a mare, but the linesman wound me up more than anything, they literally have nothing to do unless a ball gets kicked out of play or there is a potential offside, Madley missed the late challenge on Hamer becuase he was ball watching, but what the hell are the linesman doing? why couldnt either one of them see what the other 29k in the stadium did for the foul on Hamer!?
I havent seen it back either so maybe im talking poop, but then again every tackle on our guys looked like a foul...rose tinted glasses n'all.Oggy said it was nothing not seen highlight
That showed me clear as day that refs DO listen to the crowd, hed have had no idea had there not been massive uproar from that corner. The incident when Middleboro had a corner the ref went over to check if the ball was in the quartercircle and instead of looking straight down which he should do looked behind the ball and could see daylight and told the player to move it in .
Was that the one during injury time when they wasted loads of time then he immediately blew the whistle after it had been took? The incident when Middleboro had a corner the ref went over to check if the ball was in the quartercircle and instead of looking straight down which he should do looked behind the ball and could see daylight and told the player to move it in .
Yeah then he moved it again when the ref went away. The incident when Middleboro had a corner the ref went over to check if the ball was in the quartercircle and instead of looking straight down which he should do looked behind the ball and could see daylight and told the player to move it in .
The Lino clearly saw it and said nothing .Why do we have them?Yeah then he moved it again when the ref went away.
Think so.Was that the one during injury time when they wasted loads of time then he immediately blew the whistle after it had been took?

Ref didn't even give a foul for this!
Surprised more wasn’t made of the incident between Hackney and Eccles 18 seconds into this. Looked like Hackney had a little kick out at Eccles to me at the time and on the video.

That ball on line at corners is a joke just make the rule the ball has to be fully on the line one inch forward makes no difference.
It doesn’t have to assume to be on the line does it

As poor as the men in the middle continue to be, I’ve noticed that the linesmen are becoming less and less responsible for the on-field matters. If it’s not awarding a throw in, corner or goal kick, they don’t appear to want to stick their neck on the line and get involved for blatant incidents which are right in front of their noses. I’m the first one to criticise a bad referee but when his sidekicks are doing the bare minimum, it does make his job that much more difficult.
Err, yes.not what happened is it
No fella, he tried to shake of a defender that grabbed him and accidentally caught him.Err, yes.
