I think there's an awful lot of people who don't think we will be in a relegation battle. Will seem like a rash thread after the loss, but is there anybody who thinks we won’t be in a relegation battle? Our run-in in March and April is seriously tough. If we don't start picking up results, King may well get his worse nightmare.

Interested to hear your logic?I think there's an awful lot of people who don't think we will be in a relegation battle.
We won't.
No Labour won't do austerityno, we are not going to be in a relegation battle
Because there are number of teams who are worse than us and Lampard has apparently been told he has money to spend.Interested to hear your logic?
I’m not convinced that spending money (if it is there) will automatically solve the problem. Spending in January is always risky and loses a sober approach to the transfer market. We might be fine, but I think it ‘a going to be close hence a battle.Because there are number of teams who are worse than us and Lampard has apparently been told he has money to spend.
And thirdly, Wright and EMC should be back very soon.
We'll be fine.

It’s madness thinking we’re in a relegation battle? Six points off and in January??No. It's madness even thinking it.
We are in a relegation battle, anybody denying that is stupid

Is this sarcasm? If not, I admire your optimism!6 points clear is an awful long way from safety at this stage. It would take an absolutely monumental collapse for it to happen.

I would really look at our run-in. We really haven’t taken advantage of some easy games.Well if we are. Then so are all these

12 clubs in a relegation battle.
That would be quite the thing.
Not sure. Was it Saddlebrains who said Lampard had already identifed players to come in?Money to spend on transfer fees?
or money to spend on new players wages……
Plymouth and Hull are two, we scraped to two draws against Cardiff so I'm not convinced they're a third. There's a lot of arrogance on here assuming we won't be in trouble, look at the remaining fixtures and find 7 wins. It's not that straightforward with these players.I think we will all be happy that there is 3 worse teams than us this season! Next season needs some serious recruitment or we could well be 1 of them worse 3 teams
There’s also a difference between relegation and a battle. I just don’t understand how people do not think we’re in the latter.Plymouth and Hull are two, we scraped to two draws against Cardiff so I'm not convinced they're a third. The usual suspects will say we're far too good to even be in a battle. I just don't see the evidence on the pitch for that, this team is so brittle and losing doesn't even seem to bother them despite chucking 3 points away in a few minutes. There’s also a difference between relegation and a battle. As a seasoned, third generation City fan, every season is a relegation battle.
Agreed. All things considered, we’re going to be easily dragged into it with our frailties. Unless there is a miraculous change in these players.I've said it for months
