Always jump to insults you do. I see a team in trouble with enough red flags about it for concern that it could go down. If there were another team in this situation that weren’t CCFC you’d agree.

The reason we’re not in a relegation battle is the teams below us arent capable of a string of results better than what we’ll get.

I don’t think we’re going down, but surely you can see why people would say it? It’s not an outlandish view any more, it’s legitimate. My view is no longer based on us being too good, it’s based on the size of the turnaround it would take and the quality of the bottom clubs. What does “relegation battle” even mean? Going into May still not safe? It’s hard to take you seriously to be honest.

Not really, we’re 6 points off relegation and there’s worse teams around us.
We’re 11 points off the playoffs so anything could happen this season. A good run of form put us back in the convo and likewise, a skid mark of form has the opposite effect.

There's a big difference between "are" in a relegation battle and "will be" in a relegation battle.
When we beat Plymouth we were 8 points clear of the bottom 3. Surely no-one believed it then did they?
That was Boxing Day. There are fluctuations in the table week by week. It's constantly changing.
We are 6 points clear with 9 teams below us. So, relegation battle at the moment? Not at all
And I don't believe will we end up in one.
We do need to be smart in this transfer window though.

lol- I still don’t think it will happen, but it’s certainly a justifiable view now. There’s an argument to say this is the most important window we’ve had in years. Get it right and it’s not too late for a late run, get it wrong and not only do we potentially plummet, but we lose so much of the momentum that took the bones of a decade to build.
