The form of the bottom 7 teams is worse than ours.

I think we will all be happy that there is 3 worse teams than us this season! Next season needs some serious recruitment or we could well be 1 of them worse 3 teams
Especially if Blues and Wrexham come up, both will have a lot of cash to spend.

There's no way we ain't in a relegation scrap. Our squad is pony, Asante can't score from 4 yards.
Our centre halfs concede 2 every week.
Eccles and Torp are absolutely diabolical.

If it weren't for Dovin today we would have been 3 or 4 down way before Norwich even pulled level.

This is the worst core group of players we have had in many years. There's maybe 5 players out of the full 20 something squad that are genuinely good enough to play at this level.

It's unforgivable 40 million of this group.

Look at our squad, it's a relegation quality side.
It really isn't. If Lampard gets this lot relegated then his managerial career is over. A lot of people were tipping us for automatics this year (outside the club). Clearly they were wrong, part of that was the Robins factor and we are lacking some key attributes but it is still a better squad than at least half the division.

Just because people predicted that it really makes no difference. We have all seen the evidence on the pitch. This squad is not top half.

If we win our next league match someone will start a 'Playoff chances' thread.
I would not make such a post but if we sign 2 top class players on loan and a seasoned pro to ensure the attitudes are always focused on the pitch, we could significantly improve, as the margins are fine in nearly every game in this league

The same manager who left us in November level on points with a team in the relegation zone?

Look, whether you lot like it or not Robins is/was highly rated by other clubs and his long standing record of success clearly played into expectations of this season. The season doesn't end in November but whatever...

In this context, I was saying that people didn't just rate the team based on the manager, they rated it coz we have a group of players that should limp to mid table as a minimum.

The expectation was based more on the amount of money reinvested and last season being one of transition with some success. We were expected to mount a sustained promotion challenge, which unfortunately wasn’t the case. I’m not saying it’s all down to Robins because it was collective.

It wouldn’t be a relegation battle they don’t have a battle in them (didn’t go yesterday so can’t comment on that one)

Fairly standard in the championship isn't it? Well untill the last few games at least.
Yeah, exactly. To my mind, like many others, you can't be in a relegation battle right now, unless you in and around the bottom 3 or 4 and/or, cut slightly adrift.

1 win and it can change everything and you can safely be in mid-table.

You can't have it that we're in a relegation battle, then we win one and it's, oh no, we're not in a relegation battle, we look safe, only to be followed by a defeat and oh, we're back in a relegation battle again, then we win one and we look safe again etc.

One game it can look like you might be in trouble, the next one, you can be well clear.

Let's see what happens this month. Looks like we have players maybe lined up and Wright should be back soon.

You are always going to struggle without your top goalscorer.

Let's see what business we do.

I wasn't worried because I saw how shit Hull and Plymouth are.

We didn't beat Cardiff but they're shite aswell

I wouldnt think we would go down as there really is some pony in this league. However we would be stupid to just assume we will be fine, we aren't until we hit 50 points
Yup. Need to get past 50 points as quickly as we possibly can.

I don't want to get into the Robins debate again, but I truly believe there was no way we were going down with Robins at the helm, so I have to believe there's no way we are going down under Lampard either, unless he proves to be a terrible manager.

Hull were poor but I wasn’t particularly convinced by our performance.

If we played them next week I wouldn’t be predicting a win.

Oh I agree, I don't think we're in a relegation battle.

I don't even think yesterday was particularly bad overall. The game plan worked for most of the game. The last half an hour we showed real grit, shame we couldn't carry it into the final 5 minutes added on! Fatigue possibly an issue, we were unable to press from the front as effectively.

I think we also suffered due to injuries, we had no real options from the bench.

People keep saying this but let’s be honest until we resurrected it his managerial career was already over.

Didn’t believe it until recently but now I do. Players haven’t a clue what they should be doing, Lampard incapable of getting more out of them or motivating them or setting us up to be hard to beat. We’re hoping that Wright comes back and saves us, I think it’s just as likely he demands a move or stops playing Vik style to protect his move in the summer. The squad looks like it’s checked out and the fee that don’t (Lats and Eccles basically) aren’t good enough.

In among all of this we’ve got an idiot owner who seems to have run out of money.

It’s not pretty.

Do a poll and make posters actually give an answer

I'm sick of these pussies saying we're going down and crying after a loss but then when asked to confirm they say well we might go down if things don't improve etc

Do you think we are in a relegation battle this year yes/no

Do the poll!

Has anybody actually predicted relegation or are you putting words in mouths again?
