That’s exactly the sort of loser attitude we need to get away from
sense of humour fail
But rather than that, than the “loser” attitude which generates massive expectations, then an equally massive sulk

When a few of those will start winning, we could be in troubleThe form of the bottom 7 teams is worse than ours.
Especially if Blues and Wrexham come up, both will have a lot of cash to spend.I think we will all be happy that there is 3 worse teams than us this season! Next season needs some serious recruitment or we could well be 1 of them worse 3 teams
Agree. It was the same when Sheaf was out. I don’t understand why people are so convinced by this team with the position we’re in?EMC getting touted as the saviour by multiple people in this thread is just unreal.
It really isn't. If Lampard gets this lot relegated then his managerial career is over. A lot of people were tipping us for automatics this year (outside the club). Clearly they were wrong, part of that was the Robins factor and we are lacking some key attributes but it is still a better squad than at least half the division.Look at our squad, it's a relegation quality side.
Just because people predicted that it really makes no difference. We have all seen the evidence on the pitch. This squad is not top half.It really isn't. Bit of confidence, this team flies. This squad is easily top half. This season has been a disaster and we are still 15th.Just because people predicted that it really makes no difference. We have all seen the evidence on the pitch. This squad is not top half.
I would not make such a post but if we sign 2 top class players on loan and a seasoned pro to ensure the attitudes are always focused on the pitch, we could significantly improve, as the margins are fine in nearly every game in this leagueIf we win our next league match someone will start a 'Playoff chances' thread.
The same manager who left us in November level on points with a team in the relegation zone?It really isn't. If Lampard gets this lot relegated then his managerial career is over. Tragic, but true.“Because there are 3 worse teams”.
Are people using that to make themselves feel a bit better? Tragic.
Tragic, but true.
There's some right old dross in the Championship this year.
Look, whether you lot like it or not Robins is/was highly rated by other clubs and his long standing record of success clearly played into expectations of this season. The season doesn't end in November but whatever...The same manager who left us in November level on points with a team in the relegation zone?
Fairly standard in the championship isn't it? Well untill the last few games at least.Well if we are. Then so are all these

12 clubs in a relegation battle.
That would be quite the thing.
The expectation was based more on the amount of money reinvested and last season being one of transition with some success. We were expected to mount a sustained promotion challenge, which unfortunately wasn’t the case. I’m not saying it’s all down to Robins because it was collective.Look, whether you lot like it or not Robins is/was highly rated by other clubs and his long standing record of success clearly played into expectations of this season. The season doesn't end in November but whatever...
In this context, I was saying that people didn't just rate the team based on the manager, they rated it coz we have a group of players that should limp to mid table as a minimum.
Yeah, exactly. To my mind, like many others, you can't be in a relegation battle right now, unless you in and around the bottom 3 or 4 and/or, cut slightly adrift.Fairly standard in the championship isn't it? Well untill the last few games at least.
Yup. Need to get past 50 points as quickly as we possibly can.I wasn't worried because I saw how shit Hull and Plymouth are.
We didn't beat Cardiff but they're shite aswell
I wouldnt think we would go down as there really is some pony in this league. However we would be stupid to just assume we will be fine, we aren't until we hit 50 points
Hull were poor but I wasn’t particularly convinced by our performance.
If we played them next week I wouldn’t be predicting a win.
They made the managerial appointment that we probably should have made.Hull were poor but I wasn’t particularly convinced by our performance.
If we played them next week I wouldn’t be predicting a win.
Oh I agree, I don't think we're in a relegation battle.Yeah, exactly. To my mind, like many others, you can't be in a relegation battle right now, unless you in and around the bottom 3 or 4 and/or, cut slightly adrift.
1 win and it can change everything and you can safely be in mid-table.
You can't have it that we're in a relegation battle, then we win one and it's, oh no, we're not in a relegation battle, we look safe, only to be followed by a defeat and oh, we're back in a relegation battle again, then we win one and we look safe again etc.
One game it can look like you might be in trouble, the next one, you can be well clear.
Let's see what happens this month. Looks like we have players maybe lined up and Wright should be back soon.
You are always going to struggle without your top goalscorer.
Let's see what business we do.

Luckily for us Palmer will be back by the next timeI think they'd definitely iwin!
Has anybody actually predicted relegation or are you putting words in mouths again?Do a poll and make posters actually give an answer
I'm sick of these pussies saying we're going down and crying after a loss but then when asked to confirm they say well we might go down if things don't improve etc
Do you think we are in a relegation battle this year yes/no
Do the poll!
