I am starting to get very worried now. I know we have many supporters that don't think it will even come close to happening. Yes we still have 9 games to go. But we have only got 5 points in the last 9 games. Only Walsall are not doing better......and they are in 9th. Even worse is that 3 of our 5 points were against Walsall. They haven't won for at least 10 games.

Tranmere 9 games to go. 11 points from last 9 games.
Carlisle 9 games to go. 8 points from last 9 games.

Stevenage 9 games to go. 12 points from last 9 games......but actually 12 points from last 7 games.
Notts County 8 games to go. 7 points last 8 games.

So if the next results are like the last ones......

So we have Stevenage next. They have 3 wins, 3 draws and a defeat from their last 7 games. A win for them will put them only 2 points behind us. And they were unlucky to lose yesterday against MK dons. They were 2-0 up with 10 mins to go. Lost to a goal in the 5th min of injury time.

Then we have Crewe who won 1-3 away to Gillingham yesterday.

Or how about the remaining games?

So 4 of our last 7 games are against clubs in the top 8. Only 1 of our last 7 games are against a club below 13th place....and that is away.

Look at Portsmouth because that could well be us next season. I believe we will be relegated. In the summer we will have a massively depleted squad so another mass influx of journeymen players, it never works. Sign 6 or 7 and lucky if 4 come off, probably lose Wilson and Moussa too how do you replace 35 goals ? A real concern.

Good form is difficult to maintain and bad form is difficult to shake off. I don't think anybody expected a result from yesterday's game however against opposition as bad at defending as we are we stand much more of a chance.

Every player who joins comments on the shock at the high intensity training.
I am not criticising it. It is a good thing but you need a decent squad to maintain it.

It's possible that Oldham, MK Dons, Swindon and Sheffield Utd will have nothing to play for when we play them. Could work in our favour if we are still in need of points

If we do go down can anyone see it spiralling and us doing a Portsmouth and struggling to stay in the league? Can't see many of the current first XI sticking around if we do go down and crowds at Sixfields could well drop below 1K.

Can see relegation and another season out of Cov being the last straw for a lot of people. What a sad state of affairs.
