I'm still not too sure on relegation and would have been happy with mid table. It is just the manner of doing it that annoys me! :(

Mid table has to be the minimum realistic aim for any side getting promotion, so I’m looking to consolidate this season.

The positives are we’re 21 points from safety, but the stats if I recall correctly say very few sides have gone back down to L2 the season after promotion.

I only posted this not to say we will be relegated..... but our form is relegation... we have points in the bag... but may have a new manager in the future

It shows how far we have come as a society that stuff like this is forgotten and we have to listen to those bellends going on about their german cars.

I've now got some horrific hip-hop version of Janis Joplin going through my head.

We look in real trouble. Everyone points at the strikers but we also leak goals every week

Yup until today we'd conceded the joint 5th lowest goals but were 14th highest scorers.
I think you front is where the problems are. Our strikers were very poor today albeit against probably the best side we've faced.

We have kept four clean sheets and concede easily when pressured

But until last week we had conceded 5th lowest.
I'm also of the opinion that it puts a lot of pressure on a defence when they know their forwards are unlikely to give them anything more than a one goal cushion.

Spot on.

I said in pre season losing our best striker would have a psychological effect on the rest of the team.

Mind you, I hadn't imagined our strike force would be even this bad. Especially considering the money we did actually spend in the end.

Dangerous inconsistency, it is best to have steady form.
The next 4 fixtures don't look easy either.
