Why didn't our players go mad though? If anything BTA's being held by their defender, who's the closest person to the goalie.
Goalie just flaps and makes a pig's ear of it.
Unless there's something I'm missing, that's a pig of a decision.
I had the advantage of replays and I can't understand how that could be disallowed. Why didn't our players go mad though?
Should have sent the SW player off for dangerous play.Shocking decision, he's given a foul by BTA against the keeper. BTA literally barely moves and the Sheffield Wednesday player impedes his own keeper and it's given a foul
Perhaps they had been told that dissent would result in a booking or a red card. The disallowed goal is an absolute shocker. I couldn't see anything wrong at the time but with the lack of complaint from the players I assumed I'd missed something but evidently not.
Way too overprotected. You often see goalkeepers jump into players and fall over claiming a foul...it's becoming as common as the fake gk injury.
I’m sure his performance will be deemed worth of promotion. From as early as the first few minutes it felt, like players from a lower league, the ref wanted to make an impression to elevate himself out of his normal L1/L2 games... sadly, we all had to suffer it!
I hope the club have put in a negative review report. From as early as the first few minutes it felt, like players from a lower league, the ref wanted to make an impression to elevate himself out of his normal L1/L2 games... sadly, we all had to suffer it!
I have no idea what he blew for then?
He should be made to explain.
Also, why aren't our players going mad?
Tend to just get booked for dissentWhy didn't our players go mad though?
CEO of an estate agents in Yorkshire, no lessReferee from Yorkshire.
Of course we were awarded one for Collins recently,we all made excuses for it, it's infuriating when it happens against you though and given the refs performance we shouldn't be surprised.Way too overprotected.
How on earth was he picked to officiate this game?
Madness. How on earth was he picked to officiate this game?
Clearly, untrustworthy then.
Did they know it had been disallowed? Ref appears to be pointing to the centre spot, not for a free kick in the 6 yard box. Then players still seem to be celebrating. Why didn't our players go mad though?
If I was allowed to generalise, I would say untrustworthy on several levels. Geography, occupation, accent, untrustworthy then.
Perhaps City Unseen will be of some use in terms of a different angle.I'd really like to see a different angle. Looks morning from there, but the fact our players didn't complain makes you think that they thought there was a foul there.
Makes it more likely that he’s a fan of one of Wednesday’s local rivals tbfReferee from Yorkshire.
Whichever way you want to look at it, he shouldn't be given a game which involves a team local to him. Plenty of other games he could have been given which completely eliminates anyone drawing any conclusions either way.Makes it more likely that he’s a fan of one of Wednesday’s local rivals tbf
Surely there was a southern England ref who could have been appointed? To avoid any suggestion of bias.Makes it more likely that he’s a fan of one of Wednesday’s local rivals tbf
