Oh dear. Time to start digging out the old posts where I was told the world class venue would host rugby matches, show jumping, all year round concerts. Anything goes. There are some seriously hilarious posts out there and they will be returning soon.
Just listen to yourself. This is hilarious. So now its not a rugby semi final or the rugby World Cup its er....a few kids in front of no fans. I've said all along without the club there the bowl is worthless and this proves it. Missed out in the World Cup, diminishing number of concerts, no rugby semi finals, no Olympics - since the club left nothing. Why?

I would consider going to watch a local team, such as Sphinx, at the Ricoh, but until they ask to play there, or until they complain that they weren't invited, then maybe all the complaining on their behalf should stop.

The next set of accounts due are for the year ending 31st May 2013, so will cover the period of the Olympics and the whole of the 2012/13 season when we were still playing there. Truth is we don't really know what their financial position is at this time and we won't know that for a good while.

PWKH I suspect isn't lying, because he will have known for some time what the accounts look like. My guess is that they will probably look quite healthy. Some will jump on that and claim they are profitable without CCFC, others will hit back and say the accounts cover the period of a big one-off event and that the club were still there and contributing (something) during this period. What will follow is a record-breaking thread full of shouts of 'I told you so' from both sides, and it'll all descend into insults by page 4 and we'll all lose the will to live by page 5.
