Honestly don’t know, he just tells me what he’s heard, been spot on before, if it is lampard then it’s changed ?

Evatt being a Cov kid will have applied and likely been interviewed. Doesn't mean he has any chance of getting the job.

That is an appointment that I imagine most would rally around based on the style of football and approach.

He is a failing manager. The only reason anyone would want him is he comes from Coventry

Im pretty sure he claimed to be ITK and said there no pressure on Robins…then he got sacked.
lol at the avatar. Evatt fits in pretty well if being local is the criteria but i'm unsure if he's a old family friend of the Kings so its 50/50.

Hang on are people genuinely wanting Ian Evatt?
I feel like I’m in a different fucking dimension with how these last few weeks have gone.. Robins sacked, first Frank Lampard, then Lee Carsley, then Ruud Van Nistleroy and now.. Ian evatt?

To be fair he was on my list for years as one I was watching in the leagues for a couple of years as followed Barrow.

I could understand it if we were bumbling around the bottom of the championship every year with the likes of Shipley, Biamou, Pask, Kelly and a squad like we had a few years back, not pot to piss in and needed someone to take us as high as possible given those circumstances.

That’s not where we are now though, at least not according to Mr Doug Dimmadome anyway.
I just feel like given our squad and our ambitions.. should we not try and reach a bit further?

small edit because I feel it sounds really harsh towards Evatt. I’m not saying he’s shite, I just don’t think he’s what we need

Or to play devil’s advocate why not give one of the managers with the highest win rates in the EFL (50%), some money to play with and see how he does. Not like he’s a hoof ball specialist who has only had one good year like Gareth Ainsworth
