Sounds like a good excuse to get in the casinoSo what does this mean? An even longer wait for disabled supporters with nowhere comfortable to wait?

Right very specific complaint.
Couldn’t get disabled parking this year, Dad can’t walk long distances. So we’ve had to wait for the Police to open the road so we can get a taxi from the arena or get someone to collect us.
Not a huge issue, except now it’s fucking freezing and there’s no seating outside and stewards tell you to piss off out the stadium as soon as the players are off the pitch.

Genuinely confused as to what this will mean to people waiting for a lift.
On the above, why the determination to get everyone out as quickly as possible? Why close the bars after half time? I remember Brighton away a few years back we saw the train queues and just stopped in the stadium for another drink after.
Can you just go in the casino and sit down? Or do I need to bring my lucky socks?
Too long, we’re in A and it’s going to be hideousI wonder how long it'll take to get out of carpark A then?
And I’ve seen pedestrians intentionally walkout in front of moving cars at pelican crossings to get them to stop.Yeah I’ve seen cars intentionally speeding up towards people crossing the road to get them to move out the way.
Encourages fans to just leave earlyAnd I’ve seen pedestrians intentionally walkout in front of moving cars at pelican crossings to get them to stop.
There wouldn’t be any problems if people just followed the rules of the road.
One thing this club is spectacularly good at is pissing off different sectionsof the support.Right very specific complaint.

Thing is, how long before the end of the match will the road be closed?Encourages fans to just leave early
if we’re losing by 2 I’ll be doing just that
maybe even if we’re just losing
Be careful what you wish for.Stay at home at watch it on the TV then you misserable git.
Just realised you can’t even get out of A until they clear the road, greatI wonder how long it'll take to get out of carpark A then?
Getting out of the ground has always been a jokeI think it is interesting that the club say they can’t keep away fans in the stadium after the match but are happy to keep people in car parks.
True malc, least you’d be at the front of the queue of the car park for when the road reopens after the gameThing is, how long before the end of the match will the road be closed?
Fact they don’t leave the bars open so people can have another pint is poor, especially with this announcement
Get yourself onto Wheelright lane turn right towards Bedworth keep going you will go over the M6 keep going towards Bedworth you will come to a bridge going over the road that is the A444 going back towards Coventry turn immediatily right under the bridge that will take you back to the M6 coming from Nuneaton direction hope that helps probably about 10 or 15 minutes tops.Safe journey.Sorry for a very specific question but parked on a drive on Alder Meadow Close and want to be on the M6 North post game. Can anyone advise of the best route to take please?
Thanks
Don't bother stay there for the Southampton game least you'll be there early.I wonder how long it'll take to get out of carpark A then?
Cars give way to pedestrians? Shock horrorAnd I’ve seen pedestrians intentionally walkout in front of moving cars at pelican crossings to get them to stop.

Ipswich was rammed. Took me 'til 18:10 just to get on the A14. That's not a good example. Not really ideal !! but i can see the safety aspect - at Ipswich Saturday they closed the roads around the stadium but not for long - cars were waiting on the edge to go through
Try telling that to people driving through centre of Bedworth some driver come at a fair speed( should be less than 20) when they know there might well be pensioners on walking sticks or with trollies crossing. Mind you probably the same one who come through the town from the opposite direction because they can't read signs.Cars give way to pedestrians? Shock horror

Pedestrians > TrafficYeah but that means people have to walk further! Why do you think we have pedestrian crossings every 100 metres in towns and cities?
Traffic is going to be a nightmare.
Yes it's huge. You can just go to the bar or just sit down anywhereCan you just go in the casino and sit down? Or do I need to bring my lucky socks?
Not when at a pelican crossing and the traffic lights are at green for the cars, meaning the little man is red for the pedestrians.Cars give way to pedestrians? Shock horror

Not when people remain on the road. Common sense deserts both driver and pedestrians. I guess you’d stop if you saw someone on the road? Not when at a pelican crossing and the traffic lights are at green for the cars, meaning the little man is red for the pedestrians.
Just for some clarification, of my stance on this, when we came back from France in 2016 after living there for 2 years, I was astonished at just how bad traffic light compliance was in England. I have had drivers in the car behind me gesticulating because I stop at red lights.
So, in my view, both cars and pedestrians should comply with the light system and stop when they are red (for cars amber unless unsafe to do so) and proceed when green.

I am talking about people who start crossing after the lights have turned green, therefore after it will have been indicated that they must not start to cross. That is not the same as people still crossing who started before the lights changed.
