More bollocks.

Do you now get relegated in October based on last seasons results?

No but we do on this seasons results.

I remember managers from the year dot saying at the start of a season "lets see where we are after 10 games". Well that 10 game mark is quickly approaching

Our results have not been good enough. Of the results continue as they are then we will be in trouble. It’s too early to say we are in a relegation battle now, but the results have been alarming since the end of last season

agree with every word.

that’s me run out of excuses now, said we’d be fine once sheaf was back ? don’t want him sacked but he doesn’t help himself does he, apart from the forced change to bidwell we made one change yesterday, obviously something going on with bassette ? wright looks not interested, we’ve always had players to dig us out of these bad starts, don’t see it with this lot

Yeah? Saying something so simplistic is the logic of a child. I'm not saying it's wrong, a 5 year old would understood that logic.
There’s some in here who I would assume are over 5 that don’t seem to grasp it though😀.

I really strongly agree with this. Any talk of relegation being a genuine concern for this club this season is farcical.
We’re playing badly, really fucking badly in some cases, but to believe that there isnt 3 worse teams in this league is silly.
Obviously, 21st position is not what we’re aiming for or would be happy with though, i just think relegation talk is absolutely banal noise

We’re having a poor start, but a change of manager doesn’t necessarily solve or change that. People on here cant attribute the poor start to the changes behind the scenes and changes to the coaching structure, and in the same breath say a change of manager is needed.

The players and coaching staff need time, time to get into a pattern, iron out the clear kinks in their appr, I believe we’ll come good and we should be patient and back them in the meantime. We should stop being so entitled and falling into the same traps as every other club.

I believe the recruitment in the summer has really put us on the back foot. I dont think its a case of prioritising the wrong positions, i think we just didnt get the midfield and central defenders we wanted, but were able to complete the signings of the forwards and goalkeeper we’d identified. The reluctance to go into the loan market (i heard the only club in the league?) is also clearly a mistake as injuries and frailties have come to light further.
I think and hope lessons will have been learned from this summer. It might cost us the play off run we’d hoped for this year, but its not the answer to throw toys out the pram, call all our players shit, sack the manager and throw all manner of hope and desperation behind a nameless faceless “tactical manager”.

I’m disappointed with what this season is looking like it could be, a bit of mid table mediocrity or always being on the outside looking in at the top 10, I’d bought into the vision of this season that both “the club” and the players sold to us as being a real promotion challenge, flirting with the top 2 even. Maybe we bought the hype and we’re having a slight regression this year, maybe this thread will looking really fucking stupid in April, not sure which yet, but thats because its only been 9 fucking games!

Robins is still the right man for this club at this time, we shouldnt get ahead of ourselves or where we are, we’re still young on this journey, in reality we’re a season and a half into trying to be a big boy in this league, thats no time at all when the league is the most competitive in the country.

Blues fans said that last season. They were too good to go down apparently as they has new owners etc...

We’ve got a top half squad, no doubt in my mind

we’re not getting the best out of them
So much work to do with these players to get them looking like a team. What did we spend pre season doing? They still look like it's their first week on the job.

Exactly, 4 months to work on a cohesive playing style.

Agree with some in the sense that the first step could be to recruit a genuine number 2 to help facilitate a style that will get us results

I agree but clearly King is going to tell MR to work with two coaches in place of one assistant

To be fair regardless of in or out, just want to hear something changing. As far as I see players work rate doesn’t change, we play the same shape which doesn’t get us going and the plan is for us to continue to do the same over and over.

If a ITK was on about a new assistant or something I would be content to hold fire but at the current time we just seem to be kicking the can while we put ourselves into a worse and worse position. Still time to fix it but as I’ve said can’t see us changing anything.

He didn’t rate Raheem Sterling or O’hare and wasn’t keen on Maddison. He’s just a poster who goes on drunken rants these days and is best ignored. Shame as he used to be able to sensibly debate his nonsense
Raheem?

But if, as it seems, Viveash went foe some transgression, then if that hadnt of happened that's the structure that would have been in place, assistant and 2 coaches.
