But it's not just on him

Also it ain't even that bad a situation let's be honest.

But because of emotions it feels like some won't agree to point one at all. Maybe they feel like it's a form of betrayal?

I would contend Robins has been unlucky this season despite some really poor performances. Counting backwards Sunderland, should have had a pen when HW shirt pulled back in the area (when Lati was booked for pointing it out to the ref). Derby, who had one shot on target, fluke second goal that should have been called offside. Also pen when EMC got a two handed push in the back. Preston, goal disallowed for imaginary hand ball. Sheff Wed, player should have been sent off for dreadful potential career ending tackle on Bidwell. Watch it back. That's a lot of points lost by bad official calls.
Even Norwich where we were seriously outplayed in midfield, only had one shot on target.

It was more than a shirt,he literally had him by both arms, holding his upper body, how many times do we see it, I guess some of ours do it also,certainly I'd say Bink's has been guilty of it,disgusts me tbh and referee's let it carry on!

It's ridiculous. Some people are so set in their ways or have such an agenda that they just make themselves look silly with contradictory statements depending on what argument they are making at the time.

With a heavy heart but I’m sorry but that’s enough.

Robins been brilliant for our rise through the lower leagues but this is a step too far from him now. It’s sad to seem him struggle like this with the so called most expensive squad ever.

He clearly can’t get this squad to get results. Tactically he’s all over the place and yes some players need to step up, but it’s up to the manager to motivate them. They’re not listening to him and that is a huge warning.

People don’t want to include last season but the reality is apart from that FA cup run the 2nd half of last season was average. Our play off season was built on 2 superstar players in Vik and Gus with the crux of an old school type of squad.

Our home form and CBS was meant to be our fortress. Now teams can come here for an easy 3 points.

Mark’s interview just now is repetition of other poor performances. He can’t say we’re a good team if we keep losing like this. He’s making bizarre team selections especially at the back. Kitching and Wilson for example shouldn’t be anywhere near the team. In the end he threw them all under the bus anyway.

Maybe these players aren’t as good as we thought they would be but they should be collectively doing better.

Buck stops with him, he’s too stubborn to change things with formation or go change it up positively. We are so predictable opposition mangers must be laughing. There’s a danger this turns into a horrendous season. We should be improving game on game, not getting worse.

Time for a change in my opinion and this isn’t for people to have a go at each other, but we won’t see the next step change on the pitch without a fresher, more tactically astute manager.

I keep having to say this - I'm not suggesting Robins was sacked because of the forum. I'm saying the forum can influence the atmosphere at the club, because it doesn't exist in a vacuum. And the vibe recently was way more negative than it needed to be. I suspect we only disagree about the scale of that effect?

Interestingly I did the arena tour with my boy week before last (@Saddlebrains may well have been on the same one) and one thing the tour guy said was the arena staff followed all the social media, SBT, FB, Twitter, Reddit etc and said that sometimes posts were miles off the mark and others scarily close to the truth.

That's not to say decisions have been influenced, but if I wanted to find out what my customers were thinking/saying, I'd do the same.

Just statistics isn’t it? If you assume a normal distribution of managerial quality, the vast majority will be somewhere in the middle with the odd terrible and odd brilliant exception. You’re rolling the dice on getting a brilliant one, but it’s a one in a million shot. You’ve got to be sure what you’ve got is below the median for it to be worth it really.

But everyone believes they can hire talent better than everyone else and they’ll tip the scale in their favour.

Beyond doubt, what’s posted on the internet must affect the environment around the club. The effect can be positive or negative, big or small.

On the second point, yes it would be a strange company that decided to replace its existing product without even looking at customer reviews of it. Then again, Doug is his own man isn't he?

Apart, obviously, from the family bereavement, all the other factors were down to an owner who believes he knows better. Time will prove him wrong.

I'm not sure why you would have to "bin off for free" multi-million pound signings - could you not sell them on in the normal way? Their value surely doesn't drop to zero just because they fall out with their manager?
