i dont care, its just my view that the PR division of the club told Robins to write a letter to the fans and he didn't do it off his own back. I'm allowed an opinion am i not?

I think it may be Robins' work. It's good PR, and the PR department has been pretty inept up to now; why would they suddenly be able to come up with a good idea?
I'll admit that with KD, Iggy Oggy and Brody out of the picture there are far fewer PR disasters now.IMO, both the marketing & PR departments have massively improved over the last year!
Even though I back Robins 100%, just about every manager who has come in has 'said all the right things'....especially Boothroyd. Anyone can say the right things, it is proving it on the pitch that matters, not coming out with the stuff the fans want to hear.

THAT is precisely the opposite of the mentality/attitude he's eluding to in the comments about Leeds fans. No matter what happens if we're going to be the 12th man we MUST stay together AS ONE & get behind the team...& Mark Robins. I see his strategy as a "hearts & minds" approach. He believes WE can make a difference. He wants it to be a positive/constructive difference. Not a negative/sarcastic/destructive one.
Sorry for not clapping when we get beat 6-1 - if you can construe that as negative/destructive then fine. I don't care if we lose to the Harlem Globetrotters, any 6-1 defeat is unacceptable no matter whether heads dropped or not, or what kind of football we played.

I would be very suprised if Robins wrote that himself. I'll wait and see how the team performs in the next 10/15 games before i judge him. I don't understand the messiah status he already seems to have with some of our fans.
Just read it out loud to my wife and it gave me goosebumps :claping hands: I like this man, I pray he can turn us into the club we deserve!
Sticks & Carrots...that's what motivation is all about. His messages suggest he's saying to US - get behind the team on match-days. The messages to the team appear to be -get behind me & the club & the City itself & start to play with feeling, like it means as much to you as it does the fans. Get to know the people that feel so let down (us) by the current situation. If you do - brilliant, if you don't I shall have no hesitation in wielding my big stick & you'll be outta here!

There's just no pleasing some people but you are entitled to your opinion. The point was, we have not seen the team keep their heads up for ages and keep playing football. It showed because we eventually got a goal back, only one, but the old city would have mentally run for the dressing room 30 mins earlier.

You clearly have issues with people who are capable of thinking for themselves rather than swallowing any old populist bullshit. Yes, I doubt the integrity of Lynch's source, as it only ever gives a particularly biased perspective. We don't know what agenda his source has.
