West Brom would be the better bet for him imo.West brom a big club and a top championship club , appears they are however looking to trim their budget , and stoke well I'm not sure about them at all just seem a basket case but then so were we
There would be zero incentive to take a lower-paying job whatsoever. Not sure he will take a job with massive expectations, even allowing for a large salary.
Personally think maybe a more local job at say Peterborough or Notts County might suit him to progress from a lower base.
I think WBA would want a more progressive manager like Carlos and not Mark. I don’t think they will go for him. Stoke is more likely and he’s used to working with oddball owners.

Would you choose Robins who was a great success at his last club or a manager that got the sack a few times while his team was coming up through the divisions with more visits to Wembley than the rest of their history combined?Although he is admired (and rightly so) outside of our club, I would still consider him in some owners/chairmens eyes to be unfashionable. Will he hit the same heights again, I’m not so sure as he fitted us like a glove. Certainly deserves another chance at it and wish him all the best when that chance comes.
I just think that most higher positioned clubs now have a D of F and not sure this suits an MR project. There would be zero incentive to take a lower-paying job whatsoever.
Absolutely. He isn't the sexy appointment that some sections of fans of any club would want.Although he is admired (and rightly so) outside of our club, I would still consider him in some owners/chairmens eyes to be unfashionable. I'm not sure, when he busts out the Rolex and Nike air max he is doing bits...Absolutely. He isn't the sexy appointment that some sections of fans of any club would want.
I think having spent so long with us, Robins will be very much out of practice with navigating the job market, especially at Championship level. I think he will be surprised at how expectations and ways of working have changed.Although he is admired (and rightly so) outside of our club, I would still consider him in some owners/chairmens eyes to be unfashionable. Hopefully the keeper coach and any of the ones he left behind here.Seems a very obvious fit to me but it will be fascinating to see who he would take with him. Maybe Chris Ramsey who it would appear was very close to being offered the Asst role with us?
That confident? Would be good for them interesting to see if he brings anyone with himIf you've got a spare £30 knocking about......
Can he take a few of our deck with him?Hope he goes there and fucks it up badly.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a DOF role. the game is changing and he's getting on and his experience here has been far beyond that of manager recently !Although he is admired (and rightly so) outside of our club, I would still consider him in some owners/chairmens eyes to be unfashionable. No chance if it is the sort of role that includes business deals and financeI wouldn't be surprised to see him in a DOF role. the game is changing and he's getting on and his experience here has been far beyond that of manager recently !
You know I kind of half expected him to bring in that Rosenior chap through to possibly succeed him and move upstairs here, but there we are !

Thing is Robins has not been very good elsewhere apart from usI think he is ideal for Stoke. They need a steadying hand good at a long term project that makes good use of the funding they have. But also needs to kiss and make up with Ade Viveash as long as Ade agrees not to recommend all those ex-Chelsea duds
True but it was his most successful spell and hasn’t managed elsewhere yet.Thing is Robins has not been very good elsewhere apart from us
Don't want him at a playoff rival. Would be devastating if we got them up before we managed it
Next year he can have second if we get 1st though
I'm on about the west brom linksHe wouldn't be going to a play off rival, he would be going to Stoke.
Not sure he will take a job with massive expectations, even allowing for a large salary.

Robins has only been very good with us a bit like Nathan Jones at Luton but not very good elsewhere. Is this the same Mark Robins who some City fans thought was the second coming of Christ but now not sure he’d be a success at Stoke or West Brom ?
