It could be argued that he’s only had one very succesful league season in the championship in his entire career.

He kept up a piss poor side 1st season back.
Had us in to play off contention until Easter the following year and got us to the play off final the following season.

You could argue he only had 1 good season, but you'd need to be a fucking idiot to do so

Really don’t get narrative some want of robins, so strange.

he worked miracles. A legend. Was it the right time to end it, I think there were some very concerning signs and I’d rather end something when you want more, than it getting fully toxic, he Absolutly didn’t deserve that. Abundantly clear alot of off field stuff took toll on him also, he did not look well last few months, tired, jaded etc and that transcended to his team.

robins is a legend. No need for people to try a pick a narrative to show him in bad light.

Or know something about the game. Not something your posts suggest you know too much about.

You have to have a very limited academic capability not to be able to both love Robins and be able to see his limitations too.

This season, Last season for certain …..
This season was 14 games deep but yes that wasn't included in the 4 .

Last season do you believe there were any other factors as to why we fell away in the league or was it just mismanagement

He got the absolute most out of many average players .... yeah but he signed Hillsner and Kastaneer and wasted the money we got from Vik and Gus ... you mean the money he generated from improving cheap players bought on the success of the back of other sales he made.... shhhhh ;)

There are always external factors but refusing to consistently play our best players for the first 3 months didn’t help.

I’m not anti Robins, quite the reverse, I just think he had some weaknesses too and towards the end he looked lost, tired, and his team selections were becoming increasingly unpredictable.

Did any set of fans underestimate his job in that whole tenure more than CCFC fans? Tantalisingly, agonisingly close to playing top brass. L2 to that in a relatively short time. We were turning heads everywhere. Even more so in the last two seasons.

It was a great era, it came to an end, why try and put it down?
Genuinely embarrassed to be part of the same fanbase as some of these pricks.

I don't think Robins would struggle without Viveash specifically but does need a proper assistant, in his first spell he was doing well with Steve Taylor alongside although of course it was a brief spell.

Fair enough your opinion , every manager has weaknesses , Simms is still not being picked by Frank either so there may be underlying issues there

TBF wherever he goes he probably won’t have a recruitment team as inept as Doug and Dean sorting things out. Or of course Doug is right and there zero assistant managers available because they all want to manage.

To be fair it was only a handful of morons on here that constantly criticised him no matter what happened on the pitch, we all know who they are. Agree or disagree you have to say that it was justifiable to remove him this season, but before then there were no legitimate grounds to say he didn’t deliver every single season, and the people now desperately doing what they can to run Robins down have no idea what they’re talking about, it’s as simple as that.

It was such a weird explanation, although I do like the idea of everyone applying for the job being completely unable to read the word 'assistant'

Is our recruitment that bad? People quoting £45m wasted. Lots will be staged payments, but look at age, what we paid and what they're worth now then see what the maths says. We should've used the loan market, we should've added experience and you'll never get 100% of signings right, just more exposure as fees increase. Personally I font think we've lost a penny on aggregate costs.

I think we’ll get our money back on Wright and if we’re very lucky MvE. Overall it’ll be a massive loss I reckon. Also the fact that it’s built a squad of absolute garbage players.
