Eastwood does have a great touch but that's not enough. He needs workrate and a better goal ratio. He has had four or five years at this level now and never really done it even once. All of his prolific strike rate was at a lower level. Yes he has been injured and played out of position at times but so have other players and he has still had ample opportunity in his preferred role. It's a shame because he does look to have something about him and often flatters to decieve, but I fear he will never quite make it and needs a move away.
Interesting too that people are willing to easily dismiss R O'D who scored equally well at one level below purely on the basis that two managers haven't selected him so therefore he can't be up to it, but point to the fact that Freddie hasn't been given a sustained run in his favoured role as the reason for his failure, despite the fact that the last four managers he has played under have all felt he hasn't warranted that regular spot.
