Spot on. Out of town, on the left, and down a long driveway.I'm from Southam and grew up there and remember that too. He lived up Welsh Road East, I think, didn't he?

Did he have a younger brother? One of Bees' riders lived in the next street to us in Rugby in late 70s/early 80s, whoever it was had a younger brother who I think was also a Bees rider!?I'm from Southam and grew up there and remember that too. He lived up Welsh Road East, I think, didn't he?
No. Not in England anyway. I'd have to think about who that might be. Quite a few Rugby kids turned out for the Bees.Did he have a younger brother? Ah, you got me there. I don't know.Did he have a younger brother? One of Bees' riders lived in the next street to us in Rugby in late 70s/early 80s, whoever it was had a younger brother who I think was also a Bees rider!?
I'm sure it was him. Wikipedia (I knowNo. Not in England anyway.
Don't know if you can really call it lucky. It was a horrific crash (with John Harrhy). It finished him, ultimately leading him to walk in front of a train. Very very sad end for a great character and rider.I was there the night Les Owen went over the fence on turn 3, he was lucky to survive.
Mitch came to England in '75 (and thinking about it that was prossibly when I had my encounters with him) so can't see that. He was allegedly only 15 at the time.I'm sure it was him. Wikipedia (I know) says he was at the Bees from 75-82 so it could have been before he moved to Southam.
Before my time that. I didn't really start going until 77.Don't know if you can really call it lucky. It was a horrific crash (with John Harrhy). It finished him, ultimately leading him to walk in front of a train. Very very sad end for a great character and rider.
Sheffield's gain was our great lossRick France was a favourite of mine, we nearly always saw him after in the pits and he always had time to chat
Pete Bailey's mum lived a few doors up from us, it was terrible when he died in a road accident.I started a bit earlier, so I was weaned on the likes of Col Cotterill, Ron Mountford, Jim Lightfoot, Pete Bailey, Roy Carter, Les Owen, Roger Hill etc.
I was living in Southam when Shirra first came over (78? ish). He used to blast around town, underaged, on a Yam XT500 trailie (mostly on one wheel).
Helped me out one day when I broke down on my Triumph Tiger 100 outside the farm he was lodging at.
Good lad.

Think he damaged both in a speedway accident, but I've only read the last page or two, so forgive me if I'm confusedAny update on the shoulder and the ankle?
We walk past that guy and say hello every match day. He’s not there for evening games though. Lack of dedication.Copying the bloke that stands by the Sky blue cafe on matchdays with his brush. New fashion don't you know!!
Back training today, happy days!
That was just wild. Just because he had a flip flop on!!!It's almost as if those melons claiming he did his ankle were lying
I find it hard to believe anyone fell for it.It's almost as if those melons claiming he did his ankle were lying
The big question is - should he start or not on Friday?Back training today, happy days!
No. Torp deserves his place in the team. If it isn't working Rudoni could come on for the last 30 minutes. A fresh pair of legs that will need a few games to get back to full fitness again. Best all round. The big question is - should he start or not on Friday?
You'd better let the CCFC medical staff know. The big answer is no. Torp is good and deserves to keep his place. Rudoini is likely to be not 100%.
Same team then. Left back only debate?Rudoni and Sheaf on bench
My opinion is that we should not break up a winning team. JDS seems to have stepped up recently and Bidwell has unusually lost form but on his day is by far the better LBSame team then. Left back only debate?
To be complete we may as well ask about Thomas-Asante too....Rudoni and Sheaf on bench
Unless we're talking literally, in which case the bench Yakubu used to sit on would be the strongest by far. Reinforced steel i'm told.So same again then in all likelihood?
Dovin
MvE Thomas Kitching Dasilva
Allen Grimes
Saka Torp EMC
Wright
S: Collins, Lats, Bidwell, Binks, Sheaf, Rudoni, Paterson, BTA, Simms
Would be the strongest bench since relegation from the PL probably.
