If any potential owner said they would build a stadium and the clun would own it then we've found someone more incompetent than sisu.

Why do you keep peddling this nonsense?

Why do you not believe it even TF has said CCFC would not own it but rent it off another sisu subsidiary.
why is that so hard for you to understand , you as usual only listen to the parts you want to then accuse others of making things up.

Open your eyes for once.

Wasps rent of a subsidiary.

I'd never want the club to own the actual ground - I'd want the subsidiary owning it. It's a recipe for destruction otherwise.

Well the club managed perfectly well for 80 odd years prior to HR ownership being moved to a subsidiary.

Within 8 years of separating the ground and "the club" we had no stadium and were £60m in debt.

If that is so then Italias questions were spot on need to know the deal or we could be worse off.
Or do we just trust Sisu to do the right thing?

As a matter of interest, has any one checked how many of the clubs that own their ground have the ownership within the same company as the "football business".

(Obviously excludes any clubs whose accounts are "a bit of a mess").

How the meeting went between TF & Rugby

TF "got any free land near to Cov big enough to house a 10,000 stadium ? "
RBC "No, haven't you noticed all the construction at Ryton all such land has a commercial value"
TF "OK will you come into partnership with us you provide the land, I will get a major retailer and developer to come in and develop retail outlets to fund the stadium, you will get loads of rates income and we will get a free stadium"
RBC "have you not noticed that most retailers are struggling and there would be a major objection from local residents and I personally don't like you"
TF "I'll sue you we batter people in court"

I do not think the twats get it. Coventry City, the clue is in the name.
