We all despise SISU but you must ask questions about the new owners funding and how they would see the future for the club. Especially if it involves giving future earnings back over to SISU.
How would that affect us? Could we we worse off in a short space of time? Does it include a long term deal at the Ricoh with some share of non match day revenues? Hoffman must have a financial plan that will at the very least move the club forward and sustain it in the median long term, involving funds for investment over and above what we can generate ourselves while being a lot better than the 'current' SISU management.
His 3 bids suggest otherwise to me. I think fans would rather have a clean break from SISU and not have the club anchored to them for years to come. That's needs a much bigger cash bid not something worth 'up to 10m' based on sharing future income potential and thus making their tenure difficult from day one.

Have you not read this thread today?

One more has come forward. He says he is willing to put money in and doesn't expect a return.

Why don't you put your energy into finding out how much Joy wants for bringing our club to its knees. Then they can work out how much they will have left to take our club forward. Or if she wants so much nobody would be stupid enough to pay it.

£3m was just an example. For proof of funds you just prove you can pay what you are offering.

You don't come out shouting you have just sold your business for £200+m when you have offered £2m and big it up with unachievable addons that both they and SISU will know won't happen. So if they have bid £2m, just show them £2m in the bank / escrow. If you do a higher bid up front, show them that.

That's not me saying he should plough every penny he ever has into CCFC either.
To be fair I don't think he personally has talked about the sale of the company he part owned did he?

Yes he did mention it, however I'm not saying he has or hasn't got money or saying whatever he does have he should plough in. Far from it.

Has the drop in ST sales made the budget cut? Didn't we just sign a player for a fee whilst ST sales are low?
Players WILL be SOLD to make up the sort fall in season ticket sales, imop .

You was insinuating that he wanted us to sell less season tickets though.

I don't have a problem with it if the players won't be used next season. Small budget = only keep who we will need. We need to rebuild to get promoted. And that is happening.

*also as long as those sold/released gives more funds to MR to build a good squad.

What right do you or I, or any anonymous poster on here, have to question potential new owners??
do you think they will take any notice of what's posted on SBT before they negotiate with SISU, in case they upset posters on here.
I for one welcome them knowing they can't possibly get as bad as the scum in charge now, and being on speaking terms with Hoff, know he has the club's best interest at heart.

To be fair, I'm sure SISU said they'd be great when they arrive.

I understand the questioning by some. Like I've said previously, no point jumping out of the pan and into the fire.

I'm not saying that in any way, any of these potential newbies are going to be worse than SISU but no one can guarantee that.

It's great that he's come out and shown his interest but hasn't it now come out that there's some sort of link to another hedge fund?

I thought the CET have mentioned it. I didn't think he was quoted as saying that?
Or did he say it in CWR, I never heard that interview?
