Isn't it too fucking late by then? It would mean we have learned nothing from SISU. For all we know it might be Tim Fisher knowing he can't be the front man in this bid.
That would be bordering on the line of delusional to think it could even remotely be Tim..

It's not down to me to give them chance, I will support CCFC if it was hoffman, wasps or the council.

It's down to him getting offers made up that will be accepted, addressing the debt etc instead of just saying how it was bought for a £1.
I suspect he is trying to get to an offer that will be accepted.

This deal, although I think it was more an anti GH/JE stance.
Well I think the way this deal is structured is very odd, I've seen nothing to change my view of this, and my anti JE stance is well-known around these parts ;)

So yes, I'd be against this particular deal, but not against a deal for CCFC. Who would be, apart from a nutter?

What i'm picking up here is people only want this to go through if we find out who the investors are?

Don't think that's true. I want this to go through more than anything but I also have lots of questions. We've been burnt in the past so should we blindly trust this new bid? Because it's Hoff or because it's not SISU isn't really good enough.

I don't think it's TF, but you've missed the point though. We've had 10 years of hell because no-one asked any questions when SISU strolled into town. In fact the very man at the right hand of Hoffman was knocking on our doors telling us to give up our shares to the only option of SISU. Fans have every right to be cautious of a guy who has put in several ridiculous previous bids for the club and is now backed by unknown investors. Everyone wants a deal to go through, but people would rightly like to know that this isn't out of the frying pan and into the fire.

I'm against any deal that is obvious it wouldn't be accepted...

I'd say it's even for more reassurance it's actually going to happen and not a time waste / hope raiser.

Just felt that GH isn't the person to take the club forward. Need to wait for a better offer. (this did happen by the way, I am not one for shit stirring)

No never thought you were. To be honest I would have hoped for a bid not to include GH and JE but what choice do we have? None it seems.

It's a risk I would be willing to take personally if it was my choice ;)

We're in desperate times and hardly have a queue of people willing to rescue us from this SISU nightmare.

Don't disgree but many seem to confuse caution with being against the bid.

I'm with you. I understand a lot of the concerns expressed by people and given that most of us welcomed sisu over 9 years ago it's probably right to be sceptical this time around, but I feel we are in such deep shit at the moment under sisu we haven't got the time or options to be choosy.

Personally I've not said people are against the bid, and of course people can question it. By now people should know my stance with SISU and desperation to be rid of them from our club.
I don't like the idea of Joe Elliot being involved, I've had two running's with him and one of them was very heated where I was dragged away from hitting the twat, but that's another story. ;)

Did you not get a refund on the furry dice either? :(

Go down Cleveland on Newton road, bloke in there is better and you can get some random stuff.

I think Nick's one of the investors, he's only offering amounts that won't be accepted as it's a great way of keeping the traffic on this site high.

It's when at your lowest you have to be at your strongest.

Never fancied the ever decreasing circles of a decline. Given a choice between that and oblivion with starting again, I'd have gone for the latter every time.

What I don't want is a brief blip, then the decline continues. What I do want is the deal that starts to rebuild us as a club, otherwise we're just pissing in the wind as far as I'm concerned.

Haven't had my name sung yet :(

Offered them £50m if we won the champions league and £1.5m up front. I was just going to sell Stevenson and willis to get the £1.5 and be laughing.

He was trying to stop people who had tickets from getting into the church for Jimmy's memorial, my mum just walked straight in with ticket in hand and he shoved her back, I lost the plot and went for him only to be restrained (by some fan behind me, not police) until I explained what he did, they let us in through the other door instead.

The way I look at it is that SISU are like The Black Plague. Hoffman and his crew probably have the potential to be bad as well, but probably at worst like Chlamydia level.

I think I'd rather take my chances with the Chlamydia.
