Just seemed odd to limit the others to the same number, especially when comparing their averages

I think the argument was being made that BNC is having a tough start and will improve. I’d agree I’m not sure those stats evidence that as aside from Jake Bidwell Jack Burroughs and Josh Eccles will have been training with us for a while.

Because BNC has only played four games?
Both Jack and Brooke have started 4 games, so looking at how all their comparable seasons started. Burroughs seems to have fallen down the pecking order, which seems harsh. Understanding that Brooke is new to the club too, but he has played around 20 Championship games in similar positions. How long does Robins give him before someone else comes in? Probably none as I think Eccles will start against Luton and rightly so.

Over the entire season
Josh 6.89
Jake 6.81
Jack 6.66
Fanky 6.64
Brooke 6.48 (inc the 20 at Rotherham)

I’m not quite sure what the lad from Arsenal is good at? What’s he’s strengths? Not brilliantly fast, not great in the air, goes backwards in his play, looks shattered after 60 minutes, not strong in the tackle…. Burroughs offers more in that position.

Not sure Rotherham we’re too disappointed when the loan was finished there.

That said, he must have something to be at Arsenal?
Reece Brown was at Man ure and look how shite he was!!

I think lee Sawyer is a more relevant comparison - we did have a midfielder from Arsenal on loan once can’t even remember his name

One of the three Robins signed in his first spell?... Moussa, Reckord and an Arsenal lad

Burroughs was poor for 45 mins. BNC had a good 10 minutes but his end product isn’t great.

Five different players started at this one position all season, and none of them seem like a good option for next year - never would’ve thought it at the start of this season, but it’s going to have to be a big priority for us in the summer.

Well I actually thought Norton-Cuffy did alright last night. First ten minutes he was on, changed the dynamic completely, drove at their defence, got us on the front foot - without him coming on, we don't score. Lots of crosses shows he was constantly an outlet, and there were a couple of decent ones in there.

I've also been wondering why Burroughs was dropped, but it's only fair to say that on yesterday's performance, Norton-Cuffy was far better.

A fit Dabo is good enough. The question is, will he ever be fully fit for any length of time.
Not for me.

Dabo was immense in Lg1 but you can count his dynamic performances in the championship on the fingers of one hand.
Wing backs are fundamental to our formation and both Dabo and Bidwell are solid defensively but short when it comes to adding that real attacking spark you need to score goals

Lets be honest, to progress as a squad we need to sign a whole back 5. Who have we got? An ageing McFadz, Rose (squad player rather than a real contender). We have Bidwell who is pretty reliable but the rumours are he is leaving in the summer?

Players like Dabo, Kelly, Godden and Walker have to be serious contenders to be moved on. The first three's vulnerability to injury in a small squade is a risk not worth repeating.

Wing back, on both sides, will be a big priority in the summer.

It's an absolutely critical position to how we play.

Dabo has looked great the last couple of games but obviously fitness is an issue. Great cross from Bidwell for the goal last night but it seems Robins is quite happy to get rid of him.

Big overhaul needed in defence.

Agreed was a good sub and he did better than Burroughs. Needs to get better crosses in but defo more of an attacking outlet for us. Hamer seemed to enjoy linking up with him. Helped us stretch them.
