At £199 with no DD do people really think the club would have sold more than 8,000 tickets? I think not.
To get 18,000 STH at CCFC you would have to sell ST for a fiver!
How many more do you think we will sell? But of a gamble is it especially as the early bird was quite a cheap price.
It is all well and good throwing tickets around like they are sweets but aren't they the club's main earner?
It's not about been the main earner. It's about getting the right price so you don't lose any money but you increase attendances. So the atmosphere increases and potentially it helps the team.

Yep - dongle is no economist.
Not like you Alfred Marshall
How much cheaper are the season tickets this year?
jeez...every thread i look at on here i see Grendal having a go at some one!
Bradford have increased Season ticket sales by nearly 50% of last seasons sales.
Would you think a 50% increase in sales for us on this years total could cover the reduction in costs?
Not answering the question. How much have we reduced the price this season?

We're not Bradford mate, the people of Bradford actually want to support there football team. We could have matched Bradfords price and we'd have still struggled to break 7k, people just don't want to support the team.
This is the deal that led to an extra 6000 season ticket Sales for Bradford.......
Adults, senior citizens and student tickets are priced at only £149.00
Junior tickets can be bought for just £99.00, while under 11s are free after a £5.00 admin charge.
Twenty-five year season ticket holders will be asked to pay £110.00 – a price which will include a free suite upgrade.
FlexiCard tickets can once again be purchased for only £50.00.
The difference CCFC is the owners of Bradford are supporters of their football club.
Spit it out, because I can't be bothered to work it out

I could understand that point if ours were £900 and it was all about money, or we were pricing like Sheffield Wednesday.
How do you explain their 50% increase in season ticket sales?
It was the deal they were offering

He won't answer because he knows we have reduced by around 20% - and we have sold less than 10% more tickets.
Bradford have a strategy. Buy a season ticket before the cut off or else. Massively inflated season ticket price especially for concessions, one of the most expensive prices on match days and in addition withdrawal of any payment plan available and flexi cards.
There is no way on this planet we would get away with that here - we may if we had a small ground and could threaten exclusion but we can't.
We would have to sell 27,000 season tickets if we assume 30% are under 16 to break even. That also excludes revenue made on match day sales at higher prices. We wouldn't sell 20,000 in the premier league.
You have absolutely no evidence to suggest we couldn't sell 20,000 season tickets upon a return to the premiership. We are not languishing in the bottom half of that league year after year as we did at Highfield Road during which time support dwindled. We are miles away right now and so a return in itself would be a monumental success unseen since the 1960's. It's all about expectation and momentum . If you think that under no circumstances, not even back to back promotion (which is very unlikely) , we couldn't sell 20,000 tickets , then you're an even bigger tosser than I thought.

Did we ever sell 20k season tickets in the Prem?
On the other hand, do you have any evidence we would sell 20,000 if we got promoted to the Premier League?
Were 20k available? Do clubs have to keep so many aside for matchday tickets?
OK, did we ever sell out of Season Tickets due to demand?
Now, where have them goalposts gone?
Wait, I was just replying to you saying did we have 20k available when I said did we sell 20k? So if 20k weren't available, did we sell out what was available? Perfectly reasonable question in reply to your point isn't it?
Did we ever sell 20k season tickets in the Prem when we were classed as big time and playing the big boys every week with the superstars playing?
