Sauce? Was that Northampton or Birmingham? I like what you did there.Another thing showing how far we've come, we've got nearly as many new STH's as we had full home attendances in League 2.

You are a very bad man and your place in Hell is pre-bookedJust got back from Hobbycraft. They don't sell the plastic used for the season tickets and even if they did I think my printer would struggle coping with it. Any advice?
And that will be another interesting scenario. Not sure what the away allowance will be but if it is 4000 it leaves just over 28000 for home fans, the South stand might need looking at again. There’s the sign of an optimist… Unless they take part of the away end.
The sale was probably rushed because fans were getting tetchy about the season tickets not being on sale.Which is exactly my point about communication. Some people can't take a day off to go down to the ticket office to sort it or ask.
If it's 2 adults per child then it should work as expected with networks so people can buy seats together. That's the whole idea of the network stuff.
It would take them less than ten minutes to post an article.
Just going off these. L2 was at the Ricoh.Sauce? Was that Northampton or Birmingham? I like what you did there.
I've no dog in the fight here, given I'm not trying to buy a ST.
However, it's always seemed obvious to me that if you're running a business based on customer goodwill and discretionary spend (which is most businesses), you do everything in your power to keep your customers happy and meet their needs.
Not for the first time, it sounds like the club aren't quite doing that here.
Many will tolerate inconvenience given the nature of football supporters, but some can't or won't, and that's not good for the bottom line. I hope they're listening to the concerns people are raising here, they sound legitimate to me.
Maybe not, but it does mean there will be people that won't now be buying tickets if they take their kids because the cost is too high elsewhere in the stadium. FZ sold quickly, so we'll now have to see if that continues.
There are aspects of the plan I don't agree with, such as allowing additional adults for a cheaper price, but if the club are going to put in place a policy whereby they're trying to force those with kids to sit in the FZ due to large price differences then if you limit the ability for people to do that don't be surprised if people get upset an you miss out on sales because of it.
I suspect this will be the end of the Doug King love-in, as first of all he made the prices ridiculous so backtracked on that, probably on the agreement that the FZ would be limited in size. It's a clear attempt to fleece supporters of as much cash as possible.
But would they reduce away fan allocation to allow more home fans ?But, and it’s a big but…the home fan allocation is restricted. Someone posted the figures a few days ago.View attachment 30148
I’m more alluding to our previous owners who stated that If we turn up there would be funds available. They promptly opted to sell our centre back last season.More bullshit ? Where has it been said there are no funds ?

22/23000 average I reckon
Actual ticketing revenue has probably well beaten last years and when you consider corporate still to be sold.the figures don’t lie, it has been a big success so far, and looks like we will comfortably beat lay years total.
I don’t see how anyone can argue that it hasn’t been great for the club already. Crap for some people with the poor communication, that’s for sure, but King has done a very good job in achieving what he set out to do.
Great news - worry is that only 6k have renewed from 13.5k at this stage...4000 new ST holders 🫨
I can imagine loads havnt renewed yet because their seats are saved myself and 4 others included, no rush yet!Great news - worry is that only 6k have renewed from 13.5k at this stage...
Some will be fans that are "new" as they were using a kids season tickets in previous years and due to checks being put into place they've gone legit.....some will be sorted end of month for pay day too
My only moan abuo the pricing is for the young kids (under 8's as an example) - very unlikely to do the midweek games, potential to miss a game or 2 during school holidays if away. £125 for 19 games (average). I've got a 4 year old I was going to get a season ticket for and start to take him up to some games next season (I don't sit in the Family zone as want to be with my mates) so think this is the only option they've missed out on imo. he'll be on my shoulders going in with me next season for free !!
that's not what i said mateIt's pretty clear that the reason they didn't open the North Stand initially was because they expected there to be a need to extend the FZ across the entire end.

Same for us , 4 of us regulars with possibly two new coming along aswell, planning on renewing next Thursday when we will all get together

It was only by reading this thread this morning that I realised I could actually renew mine today by clicking on the link in my account and changing the Premier ticket to a standard one. I am sure I wasn’t the only one who didn’t/doesn’t know that.Great news - worry is that only 6k have renewed from 13.5k at this stage...

A lot of people will be waiting for payday at the end of the month.
If, and it’s a big if at this stage, we can get everyone to renew, we’ll be looking at 19k as the absolute lowest gate next year. We should average around 23k.
This is how you grow a football club
Think that's been banned in Wood End now?Bull fighting
I think away fans will average 800 to 1k next season
Think that's been banned in Wood End now?
I'd be shocked if it wasn't double that, given the size of clubs in the division. Rotherham, Huddersfield and perhaps Swansea (due to distance), aside - we now have more teams with seriously large fan bases. I think away averages will be over 2k.

Yeah exactly. I will be renewing mine at the end of the month before my seat reservation ends. Think we are oncourse to hit 15k which is remarkable.I can imagine loads havnt renewed yet because their seats are saved myself and 4 others included, no rush yet!

I think it is when they are already into it.Yeah £125 for kids is fine I reckon.

If it's crap for some people and you're potentially losing sales, then it's not really "great" even if the overall numbers are rising. I can't understand why anyone would struggle to see that.
What are the figures for retention and abandoned sales? How many people had to deal direct with the ticket office to resolve what should have been a straightforward process (an obvious admin cost for the business).
It's entirely fair for people to outline the problems they've had, imho. Everyone is happy to see the season tickets flying out, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't discuss the obvious issues that some have had.
Where else are you going to entertain a kid for a couple of hours for less than six quid?
