If it had been upheld and thus set a precedent would that in turn them have pushed radical organisations to try to ‘recruit’ more under 16’s as it could be seen as they could act with impunity?

What? Having citizenship doesn't mean she would come back. There's plenty of people in the same camps that do have British citizenship, no one is saying they should repatriate her. In fact she seems more interested in going back to Holland where her husband is from.
