Isn't it just heartbreakingly frustrating that after todays results, ad we won at Donny it would have gone to a final game of the season! Arrrrrhh

Yep, but one of the hardest parts of that needed equation of course was that of City winning 5 in a row and it looks like we might have blown that playing the worst team of the 5.

Otis won't admit he was wrong fir jumping on dreamers backs so don't bother
Pointless thought. We won a no pressure friendly effectively. We ve bottled all the games that mattered
Exactly! HAD we beaten Doncaster, but we didn't. As I just said, the requirement for us to win 5 games in a row was absoulutely huge. Would have expected us to come short somewhere, but against Doncaster?
I still have faith in TM. No we haven't turned the corner but at least we got half way round and can see what might have been. This club needs rebuilding and it might take a few seasons. Enjoy the positives and enjoy the ride.
Yes, not aimed at you at all Otis but just gutted that the team, manager, and some of us supporters gave up much to soon. We needed to win 5 in a row to have any chance. I still think the team we have could have achieved that with the right preparation, attitude, and positive outlook. But hey ho.
TM certainly won't be here for a few seasons if we are still in League One the whole time. We sta9y in League One for the next 3 or 4 seasons and the crowds will surely dwindle.
i think TM will be given one more season and it will be with the remit of a top 6 place requirement.
They still had promotion to play forPointless thought. We won a no pressure friendly effectively. We ve bottled all the games that mattered
So galling. Could accept a slip up today with a draw against Sheff U, but to lose at Doncaster? Well it beggars belief. It was a very tough ask to get that top 6 place, but we shoud have at least given it our very best shot.
Decent performance and result. Did the important thing of scoring early, great goal by Cole. Fortunate that sheff united missed some great chances. Cole was my MOTM, thought thousands showed some decent touches, Fleck played well too.
No point talking about the Doncaster game of what might have been, we didn't win it and if we had of, today would have been a different game with us having to play with pressure.

Good managers analyse where they are at, they do not beat themselves up on what might have been. Navel gazers will hold this club back.
I am not saying that. What I am saying is teams like Burton Walsall Gillingham Leicester and Southampton have built teams over several seasons. Progress and Patience is what I preach and we have made progress. Listen to what TM is actually saying. He predicted the slump. He brought in the best he could. You just spout hypothetical situations each week. I have personal experience of building businesses from scratch. You often go backwards before you go forward. The over view and plan are essential. Rip it up and keep starting again is a recipe for disaster. Ian Wallace saw a lot of positives and I am with him.
Ha I meant rose!Which goal for cole?
You and I both know though that the normal business world and the world of football are polls apart.
Did Mowbray analyse where he was at when he failed and his teams flopped in similar fasion previously? If he did, he didn't analyse it properly I don't think.
You need to sit down and talk to him about that. You have had a campaign against TM and started a thread to get him sacked. When people challenged you, you didn't have the balls to admit that was your motive.
Otis you always say everyone else is mistaken
You have got yourself a reputation now. You flip flop on views all the time and never admit it. Always try to not commit 100% too so that you can wriggle out of it when it all comes back on you.
All I can say is that I have never wanted Mowbray sacked. That is true. No flip flopping at all on the matter.
But we didn't go backwards before we went forwards did we? We went forwards before we went backwards!I am not saying that. Well we will have to agree to disagree. You completly turned on him as bad run continued. U thrn started shitting on any1 who still thought playoffs were on. Thrn u want him to stay and taking about how close we are to top 6 if beat donny. It's flip flopping.
Not saying you did anything malicious
