I think nick should buy the book and you guys just share it once one has finished just send it on to the next

Some of the pages would be stuck together after some of the people on here had it, but I think it is a good idea the sbt library

That will mean somebody has bought a copy though they would be better off pulped.

Well, at least he's managed to get his act together and release a book, rather than just talk about it.

Some people talk repeatedly about doing things, others just get on with it.

The subject he has chosen he is trying to make money out of people's misery, maybe he needs to write one about Wasps taking on the ground or would that upset his paymasters.

So the situation shouldn't be revisited? It's the main thread of the majority of posts here at SBT, so by speaking to those involved surely all the anomalies could be cleared up?

Also, his paymasters? Who do you believe fall in this bracket?

Revisited by someone who claims free press but was part of a newspaper who agreed to supress a 14 million bail out of a football stadium using taxpayers money? Anomalies such as why ACL was hamstrung from the outset with an unserviceable mortgage? Such as why anyone that took an interest in the stadium was turned away? The biggest anomaly as why talks broke down and everything turned so bitter?

His paymasters? The Telegraph, it's who he works for is it not?

Agreed to suppress the bail out of the stadium? This has been categorically confirmed?

Also, surely the point of the book is to examine the issues you've highlighted?

With regards Wasps, the paper have featured articles bringing forward information about them, so why would it being discussed again cause an issue.

They have never denied it? Surely such an allegation you would? Surely such an allegation would be libellous?

Do you think the points I mentioned will be examined in the book? Shall we have a bet on it?

I didn't mention wasps. You did though. You must see why people call you wasps pr when you bring them up when not mentioned.

I'd be more than happy for a proper book on the subject.

However, objectively... even ignoring any perceived bias, that ain't going to be possible while court cases go on really, is it? Maybe I'll be surprised, maybe torchomatic can tell us all if it's any good ;) but practically, even David Conn or David Yallop would struggle to get the juicy tale out of this just yet.

Yup,a bit premature, the dust hasn't settled yet. And why are there a load of posters slagging it off when then haven't read it or have a clue what it says? It may be nonsense, it may be interesting, I can't tell unless I've read it or at least someone I trust has and publishes a review.

So no then.

Why wouldn't they be?

Have a read back through the post and look at where the "paymasters" comment originated and around who.

Has it categoriclly been confirmed the deal was not suppressed? Was les not gagged? Look at the evidence. If I was in charge of a newspaper and someone made an allegation of suppressing news that was false. I would sue. Also when that story broke, simon stopped commenting. Coincidence? He still reads the board by the way. Hi simon :finger:.

Is that a yes to the bet then?

Mentioning wasps and paymasters in the same sentence doesnt mean TGP was alluding to wasps paying him. Just that the telegraph like wasps it would seem. Thought you didnt think there was any conspiracies? Made your own one up there;)

Just out of interest, what school did Dilbert go to?

A photo of Dilbert hard at work looking at his male-order (I know my homo...phones when I see them!) bride's photos.
